It is very hard to know how the richest bitcoin users. Even, i don't know how much every users of bitcoin have BTC . But my friend told satoshi nakamoto have very a lot of bitcoin

That is what they say. But we don't really know, because we still don't know who he is.
I think Satoshi had a lot of bitcoin and just converted to fiat money and now is just having a vacation or retirement.
Yes, you are right. Impossible  to Satoshi Nakamoto converted all of his mine. From my viewpoint it can affect to bitcoin' s value.  If I  the richest bitcoin users I also need retirement from my hard work bitcoin activity
of course satoshi Nakamoto has millions of bitcoin in their wallet but I'm sure he will not sell all their bitcoin at a time. of course it will hurt himself. I do not think that he is the bitcoin? he is the creator of course he has a lot of bitcoin. for users themselves. I've seen users have more than 1000 BTC in their wallets

I know Satoshi is claimed to possess 1.1 million BTC (which would be an insane amount)

But who are the other really large holders and how much do they own? Roger Ver? Gavin Andresen?
I remember someone claiming that Ver owns about 300.000 BTC, is there any place where this is confirmed?

I have checked http://www.bitcoinrichlist.com but they only show adresses and we cant know with certainty which of those are connected.

Are there any confirmed large holders, who openly talk about the amount they possess?

Mark Karpeles Bitcoin address is still active since I looked at it a few months ago anyway

and the sums moving around from it from what I can remember are fairly sizeable

The richest bitcoin user is the people that hack bitfinex bitcoin, the hacker got bitcoin worth $72 million stolenn from bitfinex. The hacker is get rich in instant and i can't imagine that.

If that is the case, the richest guy must be Mark Karpelès. In 2014, he stole around BTC650,000 from the Mt Gox users (in addition to another $50 million worth of fiat). Now he is enjoying his life, moving from one luxury apartment to the other in Tokyo.

It's none of our business.

It should be that way, tbh, but the problem is is that people can easily copy and paste the public address to see how much that address has.  That's a real problem in, for instance, Satoshi's case (if that person is still alive) because he has made his address public and people can see his coins there and if he moves them at all.  So, unless Satoshi just all the sudden wanted to create a mass panic in the bitcoin market place; it's safe to say that the total remaining Bitcoins in circulation are 20 mill instead of 21.

Having a protocol in place where there is no ability for people to see how much you have in your wallet or trace where one person sends to another person is a pretty important thing for personal security of your own wealth.

It is quite hard to find out. No one knows whether this Satoshi Nakamoto is one individual, or a group of individuals. Secondly, we don't know whether he is alive or not. And most importantly, even if he is alive, we don't know whether he has access to the private keys of all his Bitcoin wallets (it is more or less confirmed that he is having some BTC980,000 in all his wallets).

It's none of our business.

I respectuflly disagree.

As an owner of Bitcoins it is of interest to me who the other participants in this market are and what they do. If for instance (a very drastic scenario to illustrate my point) Roger Ver posts that he intends to sell all of his Bitcoins, then the value of my Bitcoins will certainly decline.
As you can see there is a direct causality relationship between all participants in the Bitcoin market.
Therefore knowledge about large owners, the sizes of their holdings as well as their intentions are in fact crucial information for everybody who owns Bitcoins.
Get over yourself.   It's their money and even if they dumped it all on the market tomorrow,  they don't owe you or anyone else a courtesy flush.

http://www.bitcoinrichlist.com/address/1FeexV6bAHb8ybZjqQMjJrcCrHGW9sb6uF?charttype=balance

This one has to belong to one of the most richest Bitcoin very early adopters, maybe even Satoshi. Rank 3 on the rich list and has never sent a bitcoin since 2011.
If you track it down, the sum in this address is derived directly from very early mining rewards that have never moved since they all got sent to this address in 2011.

https://blockchain.info/tx/e67a0550848b7932d7796aeea16ab0e48a5cfe81c4e8cca2c5b03e0416850114

This is the transaction that seeded the address

Why the hell would somebody consolidate 80,000 BTC of mining rewards in one address and then never move them? Has there ever been any information regarding this address?
80,000 BTC was already a lot in 2011

Edit: After looking more at the seed transactions, it seems this was most likely the cold wallet address of a service, an exchange perhapse. So there has to be some information regarding this address out there

could be dangerous if someday satoshi drop most of his coins

Why would he drop most of his coins? To put his money in a bank?
As far as I see it he is living like a boss and spending his bitcoins on a daily basis.

Other thing is I am sure by now he has enough $ to be rich even without his BTC.
So no I dont see him cashing all out, EVER.

If im not wrong Satoshi has been missing for years, he didn't using his bitcoins and his bitcoins is still stored inside his wallet Wink
And i don't think we know how rich Satoshi is to begin with, so he could be poor or even living in middle economy Tongue

Yeah? Could you please give me his wallet address then. Just to check how stored his BTC really are.

You lead and I'll watch you walk away.
You are one of the richest people in the world

You are a member of the 1% in human wealth

*snip pathetic image of a complete waste of human life*

and 1% least hungry

We should grind up the poorest people in the world to make pet food. It would solve two problems at once. It would end world hunger because they're gone and provide a cheap source of pet food.

you must be in the 0.1%

see u soon  Kiss

I'm not, I'm just sick of the box in my living room asking me to send money to feed them every year. If there were more Nobel laureates than crime lords coming out of the region then I might be open to continued financial support. I can end crime in the Sudan completely with one large dog food grinder.
