It is hard to know who is exactly richest in the world, there is not official account that you can look into rich people account. In some dictatorship country, the leader has the whole control over the country, and everyone in the country is his slave, not sure if that also count rich man too.
A rich man would have a billions of net worth through his entire career. I don't think a dictatorship would make billions of net worth by owning those rich people. On the other hand if i were a rich man on that country, why would i stay there if I can't have freedom to my wealth?
