for me, he is not famous person, i know him via internet, join some group than asking something about bitcoin. he teach me like brother. you know how difficult to teach someone that dont know about bitcoin (but i know because im little trader before) but he teach and introduce all about bitcoin. he is not influential at all, but he is influential for me.
For majority you find people that are influential might not be famous celebrities, Satoshi was not a famous person when he introduced the bitcoin white paper but the content was special enough to attract many in the market and that how bitcoin started, i do not believe in any endorsement by any celebrity, all these endorsement by these celebrity can be misleading as they will do any endorsement for money.

Warren Buffet, considering he would at least accept Bitcoin as real currency. He has been one of the best businessman and trader in market. He knows what the financial markets need and he adapts. Think of it as a giant step forward in bitcoin evolution, billionaires accepting cryptocurrencies.

Most? I don't think so, he's influential but he's not to that point anymore. People on the forum doesn't look to him as the same guy who's very optimistic about bitcoin before. He's changed and as you know, he has shilled a lot of altcoins.

So, putting him on the list as the most influential person for bitcoin is already crossed out. Everyone has the same opinion about Andreas to be the guy that's very influential, I've watched an interview of him and it's not just the influence that he brings. You can see the passion in what he does.

I think that everyone of us has the power here, there is no influential or not, what we have is acceptance from most people, imagine despite the fact that government officials are not in favor at this at first but still we all manage to encourage a lot of people, we manage to make them believe and introducing and letting them know the power of blockchain and technology.
Everyone has the power? but we are not that too powerful as these personalities. They've made their name and became popular because of what they've done to cryptocurrencies. And this what Andreas became the most influential in everyone's opinion.

He's been conducting seminars and talks in different conferences just to let the others what bitcoin and blockchain can do. We're too small compare to him but we can do the same in other manner.

Either "no one" or "Satoshi Nakamoto". Thankfully, Satoshi isn't around anymore, making it currently no one.

This is a good thing, because extremely powerful influencers are a naturally centralising force on decision making. Many people prefer to follow someone they agree with and stop thinking critically when that person says something they otherwise might disagree with if said by someone else.

There are some people that I consider very influential, very clever, and very aligned to my views. People like Andreas Antonopoulos, Saifedean Ammous, many of the core devs, and so on. However when I find myself agreeing with them too much, I often go out of my way to find things I strongly disagree with them on so that I can maintain a healthy level of criticality when they say something else that requires careful examination.

To note: I haven't yet found anyone that I agree 100% with; and I consider that to be very positive. I even probably disagree with Satoshi about a couple of things based on some statements he made, but since he's not around to discuss them and elucidate/clarify his opinions further, I won't say that with certainty. I will say however that I disagree with the interpretation I have of a couple of things that he said.

Very true, and of course it's hard to find anybody you'd agree with on all the things. I think this also goes for pretty much everyone who by design *is* the most influential person in any other given project, like Vitalik for Ethereum, who is also controversial.

John McAfee is the single most influential person in Bitcoin.

What do you think?

I think this old junkie is very funny lol. Just choose some better person

John McAfee has a lot of issues and most likely there's a better person that is influential than him. I don't know why did he pick John McAfee?, Does he really know who's McAfee?

Anyways, Andreas Antonopoulos is the influential person for me when it comes to bitcoin. He is very worth in this field and has a lot of knowledge on bitcoin.

In other words:
If you had to choose one real person to represent Bitcoin (in the public or in a debate against other crypto currency representatives), who should it be?

(It's clear that Bitcoin isn't led or represented by any single one person officially, which is what makes that question so hard to answer. It's also clear that this is feature, not a bug!)

Satoshi Nakamoto is coming back.

He is not realy happy of what governement did to his family.

( Using alzheimer wave with satellite and satoshi predicted they can do it because they explained it in some Governement files and news, usa used it against russian secret agent in 2008 2009 i dsnt remember correctly , he predicted and did everything in case for remember everything he did. ( like creating folders name "remember you" and making skyrock for remember what he was doing in secret as satoshi nakamoto )
He was to genius its impossible to leave forever, he is back and not realy happy of what happened to Hal and his family Smiley , he predicted to comeback in 10 years.

Worldwide only one little girls 8yo know who he was in real life and she told him 2 week ago.

If you talk about the most influential person in bitcoin of course no other than the founder and creator of bitcoin. He is the only very influential person in crypto space in terms of bitcoin. Bitcoin known because of that person and it become valuable and top digital currency among others because of  his influence.
He's indeed the best among the rest, no wonder why bitcoin is still powerful until now because it's creator influenced other people to support and accept bitcoin. It is still improving until now because bitcoin is getting accepted and adopted by different countries. No one will even know about bitcoin if he don't create it right? what do you think is the reason why some people are promoting and sharing their knowledge about bitcoin? because they were influenced by Satoshi and they're inspired by him. Maybe some of you think it was kind of funny because he's not able to show himself in public but does it matter? you can clearly see that despite of that bitcoin is still growing.

It will always be Satoshi nakamoto that will hugely influence people of Bitcoin but up to now no one knows his identity
as for the real person, it seems that it is CZ of binance, coz even some people are not liking his actions or decision in relation to his exchange it seems that crypto people are interested in his opinions or announcements.

that person sits at the very tip of "Eye of Providence", known the 4th Branch of the U.S. Government.

In terms of being "influential"; to the extent which includes controlling on-ramp and public perception of BTC (共濟會,光明會,世界新次序,羅斯柴爾德家族), and also dis-information.

"  For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed." - JFK (And nope, this was not about Бoльшeвики/Poccийcкaя coциaл-дeмoкpaтичecкaя paбoчaя пapтия)

Many would say that Andreas is the most influential person in bitcoin universe, but for me its Roger Ver, from his dedication to advocate bitcoin and showing support to Satoshi Nakamoto's creation was known to be something no bounds, he's been one of the few people who's been a bitcoin evangelist virtually form the beginning. Ver is also the first angel investor of bitcoin and an outspoken advocate of it, now he is best known because of his support with bitcoin cash.
And if I were to choose someone who can be a representative of bitcoin in a debate, I would still choose him because of his youthful experiences with alternate currencies when his class during fifth grade invented a currency named after their teacher which is Lindyland dollar that is used tonoaybstudenta for their work. from his school up to now the point when he get to be bitcoin.com's executive chairman. He's entrepreneurial skill would be his edge in a debate.

he is the biggest joke to the crypto world

He is influential though, isn't he?

I’m flagging him as a crypto clown too
Being influential in the right way is something we have to admire, but his “work” wasn’t a contribution...

Maybe "the dickening" will be a contribution, though :-D
