nice thread,this is the first post i have read that tackles the advantage of Bear market because i often see people says bad about bear but this talks about the good side so i think there are reason for us to be happy when bear comes?
though in my mind there are some thoughts that i will buy many currency when dumping so i can sell when the market pumps

someone always thinks that the bear market is a bad market, especially for investors who buy coins at high prices because they will not get a double profit if they sell when the market is still weak. whereas for me personally the bear market is a good market because we have a good opportunity to buy coins at low prices, other than that I personally will not waste this golden opportunity.
For users who had known well about the cryptocurrency market will never indicate the bear market as bad. These people will be mostly professionals who will be observing the market very closely. When there happens a bear market it will be used as an opportunity to invest while the people who aren't much knowledged about the market fluctuations will get into panic and help in manipulating the market.

Bear market is the season where we stop speculating and instead we start doing detailed research. What we should be doing is educating ourselves and others about the past and the future of Bitcoin and keep promoting it but not as a speculative asset and easy money. All the lambo talk and crypto millionair songs are signs of a bubble. This is the time for contemplation and retention.
Sadly this time promoters of cryptocurrencies don't actually care about Bitcoin and are still shilling a tone of shitcoins even though Bitcoin is actually gaining dominance as it was supposed to. I don't have any hope for altcoins and especially for these youtubers and I'm glad Youtube is blocking their videos. They are only promoting their positions or shilling like idiots. Yes well in fact it is a good season for us to buy, especially for those who wait this moment so long , altcoins now are good to buy, because they are in a dip or not in its pumping price. The delays from ICO projects either bounty rewards or getting listed on exchanges are mostly because of market condition ,all these projects are hoping for a better market surge so has to make higher profits just like 2017 ,either the project has funds or not ,softcap or hardcap raised successful there will still be some delays, you will even see projects putting locks on bounty rewards ,some for six months or more.
If bitcoin hits 30k tomorrow and ETH turned over 1500$ you will see all this projects rushing to exchanges ,releasing locked tokens ,no matter how bad the project is, it will still be profitable,this makes me feel that all this projects have nothing to offer ,they are here for gains ,some short gains and others long term huge gains.

Those project that successfully manages through this bear side of the market is really good and a firm one, because there are only a few projects can enlist their coin in platform exchanges.
Bear market is bad for those who have been hodling coins and looking to gain profits from because they arw not only losing profits they might actually loss all of their investments by not making any once the market rise back and good for those who are looking for an easy way to gain profit as they will just wait to the bull run to come and there a ROI. You've got a point. Since now that scammers don't get something from the new projects, I think they will not waste their time on creating projects. But those dedicated team which continously do projects without expecting financial breakthrough but if the project will be successful, good projects will be born.

If they fear with the current market condition, it means that they are not doing their best to study hard how market works, they just think that the market is good once they have seen that the price of it is rising, which is very bad thing as we know that we should not just rely on the price itself.

Bear market is really not that bad at all because it gives you opportunity to buy bitcoins and altcoins in a cheaper price, so if the price increases there is a chance that you can double or triple your profit. The bad side of facing the bear market is wee lose a lot of money from our holdings, that is why we need to cut our losses when we see there are sudden changes in the market price.

I agree with you, like me who has been holding altcoin since 2017, hoping that if 2020 bullrun happens so I can sell all my altcoins and start investing in bitcoin even though I think it's a little late.If you had that decision for long time then it is a perfect time you to withdraw it and start a new beginning in bitcoin and it is not that late because we knew that there is no late comers investing in bitcoin. now that the price is low you can accumulate as many as you want and you can earn much more by time so there a big different to have btc and potential altcoin. 2020 is upcoming and better to be ready.

I agree that bear market is not bad at all. In the bear market, we will easily find active projects which still trying to develop and building community.
