Easy win for the republicans. I don’t really care who their candidate will be but I know for sure Biden is not going to serve for another term. If Trump somehow becomes the rep candidate, I’ll make a bet for his victory. He owes me a great deal of coins from the last election. Cool I’ll let him make up for it. If he loses again, things will get ugly. I will get so angry I will smash something.
I will make a bet for the victory of the republicans if they field a candidate that is not Donald Trump. He has the support base and can fund his campaigns but he has so many dark spots. He might be indicted and his controversies are numerous. Trump might only get votes from core republican. Ron DeSantis will be my best bet. He will get votes from many democrats that are not satisfied with Biden's administration. But if Trump gets the republican ticket, Biden will defeat him with a close margin.

I follow international and U.S. politics closely -- and I do not bet on them hardly ever, no matter what the odds are.

Too many real world factors change the odds and it only takes the slightest distraction to completely flip an election. Campaigns have gone up in flames over the most insignificant blunders, and paid actors have the potential to influence outcomes depending on their power.

Try and factor these extraneous influences is nearly impossible.

I'm not an American I don't have updates on the strength of all the candidates but the next president of the most powerful country will have an impact on the future of many countries, in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and based on the article I read Biden is taking a lead this early.

US Election Betting Odds: Biden Back in Front as Trump's Legal Troubles Mount

But if I am going to bet it's still Biden for me because he is an incumbent and against Donald Trump, I prefer Biden because Trump is into a lot of controversies during his term, if he is re-elected there will be more controversies in his tenure.

Quote
Joe Biden's odds of winning the 2024 US presidential election
Biden has seen his odds fluctuate massively since becoming president seen a massive jump to +200 but that isn't due to any change in his popularity with his second State of the Union address failing to budge the needle. Biden's current approval rating of 43% according to FiveThirtyEight is almost identical to what it was on Christmas Day (43.2) and has been more-or-less the same over the last six months.

I didn't bet on the last election. I was planning to put my money on Trump for the 2024 election because I think he has a higher chance of beating Biden this time but the lawsuits against him may change the tide. I think the Dems are afraid of him running again. Now I'm just waiting who the Republicans will choose as their candidate.

I haven't decided to enter the presidential election bet now.
I thought it would be filled with so much news that it would be confusing if we didn't have actual news sources.
But if I thought the presidential election bet was getting hotter, I'd try to follow the stakes but only for small money bets.
Actually, I don't really like betting on politics because many diversions can occur in the middle of a campaign, but we'll see.

these kind of betting are pretty common and several sites provide a chance for a bet.
unless other country, in such situation it's pretty useless bet on the option "other" since the 2 major candidates are clearly in a net advantages.
meanwhile for what I have seen in my country (Italy), the election of an outsider it's a decent option with high payout Wink

If I'm not mistaken, we have a thread here: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting....

And yes there are many sites that also cater for this kind of betting. However, I'm not into this kind of betting though, not my type, but I don't have any agaisnt those who are willing to make a bet on US Election or any election for that matter. There is no one size fits all type for gamblers.

As you all will say that Still there is almost 1 and half year away for USA elections but still I want to highlight this option because here there will be almost in millions of bets that people will do and also that's based on speculations and also someone's interest.
I think that this could be one of the biggest Bets we can see because a whole world Knows america and it's superpower and it's has international recognization because of it's influence to the whole world.
So what are your speculations over this USA elections. And I know that everybody has their own speculations and also wins and also loose. So let's see what will happen?
You may think that this bet is going to be the biggest bet in the world but it is not at all. I don't really know the influence you mean that Americans have gotten. This is just a normal bet to us and even the odd when you bet on the US election is not even close to what I do see when on bet on my regular football matches. The US election is still far from us and I can't imagine seeing myself going to bet on it when we have more than 12 months for us to wait for the outcome. I can't even imagine the amount of money I would have won betting on my regular sport bets.

I don't want to bet in any elections because of the surveys being handled by survey agencies, these survey agencies are good at predicting the right winner and even the percentages of the leads.
I can cite one example and it's my country where it accurately predicted the result for the past 30 years, and even in America, survey companies are good at predicting the outcome so it's no use making bet on predictions.
We can do our betting right after the announcement of the party's representative but it's useless during the campaign, especially now that everything is automated.

These type of bets are for people who can't live without betting on anything, even in rooster fight and something similar those lines. These kind of persons find it amusing to bet on any event that bookies offer them to bet on but for most gamblers they don't really care much about presidential elections, well except people living in the USA which most of them would love to bet on this race as they get a feeling of pride if they find out that their favorite has indeed won the elections. The automation has a big incident in 2016 Trump rigged elections by Russian "friends" so I think they should have worked it out now otherwise it would be useless.

So what are your speculations over this USA elections. And I know that everybody has their own speculations and also wins and also
US presidential election is still 2024, we are still in the first quarter of 2023. Is it worth discussing this now? I do not think so.

But unfortunately in my country when there are elections and betting there are always debates and fights if the final results of the elections do not match expectations so I myself have the thought that betting on elections will actually get someone in trouble and therefore I am not interested in betting at all in the election even though what is at stake is the election in the US state.
Only what could put someone in trouble is when you are publicly announcing or showing people to vote for someone, if the person is not liked in such area, it can be a problem for such supporter. The best you can do is to let the person you want to vote for to remain in your mind.

The way I think it is, betting site can not disclosed that you are voting for this so person, or that you bet that this presidential candidate would be the winner, it remain on the betting sites, so no problem. Besides, this is US election and you are not from USA, only international betting sites that would have this for their customers to stake who would be the winner, even just on only very few international betting sites. You have nothing to worry about.

Even as for the local ones, you are right that people are betting for who to be their president, but not also a problem to use the opportunity to bet who would win the presidential election.

There are lots of bets that are made when there is an election in a country and it doesn't only happen in the US but also in several countries out there, even the country where I live, there are always people who make bets when there is an election.
I don't know how to place bets on elections because I myself have never participated in this bet.
Maybe election betting will not only benefit the bettors but also the election candidates because with indirect betting there will be more and more people supporting them during the election.
But unfortunately in my country when there are elections and betting there are always debates and fights if the final results of the elections do not match expectations so I myself have the thought that betting on elections will actually get someone in trouble and therefore I am not interested in betting at all in the election even though what is at stake is the election in the US state.
