what people want when study is certificate to apply in many company, and when get a job, they have good position, and salary. in my country, company apply people who have connection with other worker, its hard to dig new potential from newbie, like just who want to fill this position. not all company play like this, good manager will do like system and what you have for the company.
need fund to explore what business is, you need to get job first to do it, or you need to have riches family.
good one is, taking job, whatever it is as long as you have paid and it can bring your step longer, just think about experience first than how much salary you got. experience is good teacher in good company, and it can be bride to be good entrepreneur.

Most people can't choose between having a job x or y, or between being a employee or employeer. All they can do is to take the opportunity that is currently opened to them with the hope something better will be disponible after some time. Of course the business owner position looks more interesting for most people, because they imagine it is an easy duty where all the have to do is to order people to do things.

But in fact, owner and manager positions are the most difficult, time and responsability demanding ones. So it's really not for everyone, and even though most people would like to have access to the benefits and advantages of those positions I'm sure they wouldn't want the negative aspects and renounces those same occupations also demand.

Sometimes it's better to be just a well paid worker instead of a manager with a restricted budget a lot of headaches.

Why would need to choose if you could do both? Its not really impossible to do both as long you do know how to manage your time and of course your funds or capital. Doesnt matter on how you've done it because
what matter most is that you do need to sustain and able to maintain out when it comes to profit and of course on having that financial freedom out of those two sources you do have.
Do all sorts of things as long you do able to do so and able to get more income out of it and make your life sustainable and this is on where most people do wish for.

A lot of employers and great personalities were among those who were school or college dropouts and presently earning a lot more in a month than an average guy who completed his study and works for them could even think of, but still cannot earn during his entire life. Doing job is for those who want a salary, a paycheck they can wait for and get after a month. Doing business is for courageous men and women who think of the future of others too while taking people with them to fulfil the vision they have in their mind. Businessmen have the ability to sign those paychecks and give them to their employees while they earn it on a daily basis and take all the risks on them.

Personally i will do both, maybe for some people who have shortcut, they can open business in a short time. But for ordinary people, they need to collect money to be used as capital to open business, and where to start it? it is have a job. Doing something in  step by step really needed because even we already have money, opening business is not simple as it seen, it need research to be success and not guarante it can made us successful directly.

Well, I am more or less inclined to the multiple income kinda guy and has always tried to add more and more option to my portfolio. I am very much up for the business first and then for the job. I am a biotechnologist by profession and im doing pretty good at vaccine manufacturing plant however at the end of day it is nothing but 9-5 job and you have to be there all the time anyways. I am slowly starting to look for good business opportunities and sooner or later I will start one small business for sure. Though not considered as business but I am selling my Pencil Arts everywhere and whenever get the opportunity I would go and show it in the exhibitions. I am working on the full fledge working of the same, and hope that some way other I will convert it into the big business deal.

The fact is that most people will work after completing their studies because that is the initial goal after completing their studies and over time they will find their identity.
Working is one way to gain valuable experience and can also be used for the purpose of opening a planned business. I mean working to grow the planned business capital or after realizing that he has expertise in the business and start planning it.

and that's my journey and I think the job is important because it will be a valuable experience until I find the skills that are within me to be a business, and the money I earn can be used and collected for capital while planning and also developing the business strategy that I plan .

Its personal decision by individual since not everyone has courage to do business as this one need a lot of patience and time plus money and many doesn't want to take a risk since they want to earn passive money that's why many choose to have stable job rather than spending those ventures. But if we really look deeply having a business is much really better since from this we can enhance our life and we will be away on modern day slavery where almost all of our time will be spend on cubicles and we don't have a choice but to follow what our superior say to us.

Still, I want to be about business so Maybe there will be a chance if I earn more and save that money from my job I will do my dram business.

I want to do my own business but my course is an office job not a business of my own.

One thing I know and experienced School provides a student or rather produce a student to be an employee, not a businessman or woman, especially when you are a college student.

Most parents pursuing you or rather their children to take the course that they do not want to suggest the most number of jobs that earns a check of a 6 digit number.

Only a few people helped their children to do what they want so commonly people get into jobs being slaves of their parents choice, not a business that will help them along the way until they get old giving also a chance that will help them to earn a 6 digit check it maybe longer but it's worth it as long as you do the business you love to work on. Plus it's said that going out to your confront zone will help grow as a person.

Personally, I am always going to choose business over having a job. As long as I have enough money to start up a big business then I am going to do that and not go out and start looking for a job. That has been my plan right from time and it’s not to be in an office and working for anybody, when I can  start my own business and be my own boss and have total control on whatever I want to do.

You see, having a job puts a limit on you and your income, every month you’re expecting to earn a particular amount. But when you own a business, there is no limit to what you will be expecting in a month, every month you're expecting to earn even more than what you got the previous month are you always expecting to keep growing more than your current level.

This matter is subjective. It depends on the preferences of a person and his capability to do either or both of it.

They keep on saying, education is an important tool. Indeed it is. Education is something that cannot be stolen by anyone from us. Although this is often misunderstood that education must come from the four walls of a classroom. No, it doesn't need be acquired only at school. It could be also from your experiences. Education from schools can be of great help most especially if you want to pursue professional field such as being a doctor, teacher, or lawyer.  It can be your stepping stone to achieve what you define success, but you could also rise to the top without it because after all, determination, perseverance, and nice strategy could also get you far ahead.

There are people who are less fortunate that don't have the capability of studying to a decent and reputable schools. Hence, they have no other choice but to stand for themselves at a very young age. Finding ways on how to survive on a daily basis without a college degree or diploma to show and offer, but ended up successful. It's because they have strategies which cause their small ideas, crafts, and businesses blossom into something big. You see, education in a formal school won't guarantee you a successful life. It won't guarantee you a work after graduation. It won't promise you a nice paying salary either. But you could always look beyond that and start something you are passionate about. You can study and do business at the same time. You could opt not to study and do business if that's what your heart wants. Or you could study and pursue your field of expertise and not do business if that's what you think your calling is.

The bottomline here is you do what you want to do. If you see something that will be beneficial to you, growing as a person in different aspects, then do it. Pursue your calling. It could be hard because not everyone is experiencing same storm, but we could always make a way to survive the rain and the heavy winds that has keep on drowning us. Job or business, both are decent opportunities to generate income. Do what you think will suits you best and will fulfill the desires of your heart as well as your goals in life.

Being an entrepreneur is different from being an investor, so one who is investing their money on anything like Bitcoin, stocks and any assets are investors but the earlier one was to bring the idea which maybe new or an evolution of something which is already existing so they can attract investors and customers as well.

Well, its very rare to become rich by getting oaid by someone so its a mandatory to take risk if they want the rewards.

It is very dependent on the country. Even in developed countries, it may not be a sensible choice to go out there an open a business without some previous experience working for someone else. Barriers are high and making business is anything but an unlevelled playing filed in which politics, nepotism and groups are determinant for success.

I encourage people to be brave, but also have a good understanding of what they are doing.

It is really depending on someones actions and perseverance on how he would handle up himself on reaching out their goals and we know that building a business isn't really that simple as it sounds even if you wanted to which simply means that it will really be not easy as not all would be have the capital.

Therefore,we don't have any choice but to take those day job and work hard for us to get some salary and survive ourselves and that's the part of the reality
we do have now.

If you do like to make your life better then its just normal that you would really be finding out ways for you to make more income
and make your status even way more better.

I was raised to believe that taking up a bachelor's degree will land you straight to a good job. Well, I somehow managed to land a good job after finishing my degree, but seeing some of my former schoolmates that dropped college achieve more financially than me, I just realized that maybe, finishing college isn't really for everyone. I'm not chasing for riches and regretting anything, but it just clicked to me that some will do good if they chose to do business at an early age while some are better off studying and entering the big world as a corporate pawn.

But if I have the chance to turn back time and choose again, I'd choose a different degree and try to excel on that for competitive offers even as a fresh grad.

And this is why people prefer to have a job than being an entrepreneur, people like us which took a risk with bitcoin when it was nowhere near as popular are the kind of people that will make for a good entrepreneur, so I think we are going to see a lot of people responding in this thread about being one or wanting to become one.

But the forum does not represent what the population at large thinks, most people prefer to go for the safe option even if that means that their economic prospects are limited as it is difficult to achieve financial freedom when you are being underpaid for what you do.

In other words, a person with a skills, talent, or expertise is more likely going to earn more money when working than the people who do some business. Well, businesses will make you rich in the long run if it is successful and of course the struggle to survive and learning how to deal with changes will cost some time and money but at the end of the day. I believe businesses is worth it to choose if you know how to manage your income profit.

You can't say people in the business field doesn't have any talent or skills because once you are a businessman, managing your profit and your business at the same time is also a skills.  Not to mention the approachable gesture once you manage to have more employees in your business.

Of course many people would love to choose business because it can give unlimited amount of profit/money. Whereas working under a person or company usually has limited amount of salary which was only capable of expanding when you're lending more time to do the job.

However, there were also those profession or jobs that gives you unlimited amount of opportunity to earn more money. Well, most of them requires either skills, talent, or expertise.

Complete studies well, pursue science that must be a priority. Do not let you not take advantage of the opportunity to be able to study formally. Out there people who want to learn still have difficulty accessing it, so you just have to do your best. Regarding success in the field of progress today, there is no need to worry about it all.

After your achievements are completed from school, then you only need to hone the skills you have, and choose which one is suitable for you. Can not recommend work or business, it is only each individual who can determine it.

I think the decision isn't only about job or business, it's more about how you perceive opportunities and what is your risk aversion. Initially, there won't be any returns in businesses too and there are good chances that the business fails leading to an even worse situation for the person than it would have been in a small job. I think initially it makes more sense for a person to get a job especially if he is getting a white-collar job, this would give him an initial kick start in terms of financial stability and also provide him an experience to later which can be handy while starting your own business, so even if a person wants to do business in the long term he should always try to start with a job only.
