I think that bitcoin as a king and will remain so, and will occupy a leading place among all cryptocurrencies, both in price and capitalization. Now is certainly not the best time for bitcoin, and every day more and more new more advanced projects than bitcoin. Much in this situation depends on the miners. Will they continue to support bitcoin or not

There are more coins now that can be the new king.. because many coins now are after to Bitcoin and Ethereum because the price of both Bitcoin and Ethereum is going dump day by day. So many coins that at the top 10 can beat those two soon, i think maybe 3-4 years.
A new king? really lets see what happened next year but i am not sure they would be any new king bit if there is inhope they would have stronger values and potentials else they are sure to crash
I think that the best alternative for BTC could be Litecoin. This coin was also created for a long time ago and has gained a high level of trust from the community as well. Moreover LTC is technically better, much faster and cheaper.

Bitcoin for me is the strongest one and Eth was just behind bitcoin as of this moment.We speculate often because of the current situation,the bearish market have prolonged enough but i still believes on bitcoins potential and never think that any alts would play the role of a king in the coinmarket capitalization. I believe that the new king will be an altcoins, because BTC is too old as a crypto currency. I can understand that it is the first crypto and so on, but I cannot get why so many people are investing in this coin, because there are so much great altcoins out there.
