No one will win the WORLD WAR 3 because its result will be catastrophic.
and the world's peace will be doomed  and destroyed.

The concept in the film Elysium might be the most feasible thing that will happen in maybe a century. A big hunk of Space Station orbiting the Earth and it is only those who can afford who can get and stay there.

how many times told you that this is not gonna happen.
if happens then whole world will be ends.
because of nuclear war sorry mate this not gonna happen.

Agreed. In modern world if WW3 happens no one wins. Even if several millions people will survive they won't stay long in the past nuclear war environment. But if you are talking about ideological war then I'm sure USA will win, not because they are smarter then people of other countries but because smart people of most countries support USA.

Yes, they key to winning world war three will be to have a vast area of land and a big number of people. The more, the more likely you are to have enough people left after the war to make it worthwhile to actually win. That insignificant peninsula in westernmost Eurasia obviously will be the big loser, there will be pretty much nothing left there, I´m afraid.

Thats's true, China has greater manpower than Usa and Eu, but they are really advanced technologically, so I think they would win.
Anyway a WW3 of this dimensions would deeply change our world.

Russia and China are big countries with huge populations hence almost endless supply of manpower.

The US, NATO and their Asian allies (Japan and Korea) has higher technologies at their disposal.

Very interesting war, though I would be hopeful that it will not happen in our and our childrens lifetime. They want to wage war, do it Star Wars style in outer space.

Neither faction, the cockroaches will win... Sad

No. Nuclear war can be won. It doesn't mean the whole planet will be destroyed like in some Hollywood films but it will make some parts of the planet uninhabitable.

the nuclears are the problems. countries who have that nuclears will have chance to win the war.

I wonder, will those countries attack each other? because they want to destroy countries have great power.

World War III will never happen. Obviously democratic countries do not tend to go to war with each other.

Democracy is a phantasm of the leftists ! The democracy will fall in the XXIth century, and then the WWIII will take place. We need it, to eradicate all the shit that lies on Earth actually.

Let's see if there will be a WWIII in the XXIth century.

The Indians won´t win any world war except maybe in the sense of having a meaningful number of people left alive after the dust has settled. If that world war is nuclear you´ll probably be the better off eventually the larger your population is before the war.

india will be won the ww3.  Wink Wink

Apart from the seemingly unlimited manpower resources, what are the other advantages which India possess? India is a failed nation where 15% of the population (upper caste Hindus) subsidize the remaining 85% who don't want to work. India imports almost all of its weapons and military technology from foreign nations such as Russia and Israel.

This is interesting.

Saudi Arabia has replaced Russia as the third biggest military spender in the world, according to new findings by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

Since 2006 the kingdom's military spending has nearly doubled, exacerbated by its year-long war in Yemen, with SIPRI noting its expenditure as $87.2bn in 2015.

The United States remains at the top of the chart with military expenditure of $596bn, followed by China with $215bn (based on SIPRI estimates), and Russia in fourth with spending at $66.4bn.

Global military spending reached almost $1.7 trillion according to the institute which tracks arms expenditure around the world. The amount marks a year-on-year increase for the first time since 2011.

Yeah, and they also called WW1 The War To End All Wars for a while. The carnage and slaughter was so horrendous that it seemed inconceivable that it could happen again. But of course it soon did and was even worse.

Is there a agreed definition of world war?How many countries must participate? At how many continents must occur?

It´s something that historians find out after the fact. The first world war was initally called The Great War. I don´t think it became a world war until the second one had ended. I guess the requirements are major conflicts on several continents with major powers involved. Personally I think we have been in a world war since 9/11 or even longer. Or at least the beginnings or the prelude to a world war.

About 1.7 Trillion dollars is being spent on the military world wide. I think that´s the amount for last year. It´s a totally staggering amount, world hunger could probably be eradicated for a tenth of that.

Global Military Spending Is on the Rise for the First Time in Several Years

Nothing unexpected. A lot of medium-scale and small-scale warfare is going on world-wide. Examples are Libya, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Sudan (Darfur and Nuba Hills), South Sudan, Nagorno Karabakh, Burundi.etc. Many of these conflicts are proxy warfare involving superpowers and other influential nations.
