I am holding a bag of useless illiquid tokens. So do millions of other people in our community. We must do something about it! So I decided to Pick up the gauntlet. I’m having meetings with projects leaders, big companies, and trading platform, trying to find the best solution for all of us. Would love to hear your situation, thoughts, and ideas.
The main reason for the fall of the market in my opinion-the manipulation of major players, cryptocurrency exchanges (for example, BitMEX), the conversion of funds from cryptocurrencies into stable coins and the lack of regulation in the market as a whole.
Well the crypto market has been facing some slight ups and downs since the beginning of last year and this is basically due to all the legal issues that are popping up in the crpyto space. News like the pending approval of Bitcoin ETF and other legal issues surrounding the crypto market all contributes to the spread of fear which further leads to panic and cheap selling on exchanges. Hence the reduction in prices of cryptocurrencies.

Everything is being tried now to savage the situation, the supremacy of bitcoin is having more effect than we want; lets try using fiat to buy our asset in altcoin and see what happens; more exchanges are adopting these icluding binance in UK market, at least fiat value is not as volatile as all the coins on cryptocurrency.
In trading like forex or stocks, when everything is rising so high, you need to sell more than half to take profits. Now if you are not an experienced trader, you will become a victim on trading because you are still emotional and you get attached with your coins.

I think it's because people never want to wait till it their turn in placing orders on exchange every one or two people are willing to sell fast at any rate not minding if it get dump or not. Most by bounty hunters.

There are many reasons to altcoin drop. Pressure comes from SEC, government and scam projects
In every drop there will always be a valid reason, but just to be clear, you shouldn't base the market's status on BTC alone, because some coins are popping up and some are dropping off, and some altcoins will have their own reason on why the price is dropping, same with the other altcoins.
