I think one of the reason why people did not want to invest or buy cryptocurrency is that because they are afraid. They are afraid because bitcoin is volatile. Its price can increase rapidly and at the same time it can also decrease rapidly. And also they are afraid that maybe if they invest on bitcoin they will be get scammed because of the influence of government that they always tell to people that they need to be careful.

I thiink that many people are not investing in cryptocurrency because this field is very volatile and nobody wants to lose their investment fast. Sure, cryptocurrency allows you to earn money, but it also provides many traps where it will take your money away from you. One of the best methods you can make your investment is to take a look on underlying technology that the project has. If technology is good and it solves something then you can definitely invest in it. One of the main reason why people are afraid in investing cryptocurrency is because of high volatility in the market thats why most people think they cannot make a profit in cryptocurrency and everyday you hear some bad issues regarding crypto and that can spread FUD to people.

Why are people afraid to invest in the cryptocurrency market? It's simple, to avoid losses. There have been stories of noobs buying at the top and getting dumped on. At the moment, Everyone's portfolio has undergo a somewhat - 50% portfolio value decrease since the market hit an all time high of $800B+ in market capitalization. That alone is enough to scare potential investors away.

I think there are many reasons why people are afraid to invest with cryptocurrency. may be one of them because the nature of cryptocurrency is fluctuating, the price every day can rise and also down. and the possibility of people who are afraid to invest in cryptocurrency, because they consider cryptocurrency like gambling. maybe also because they do not understand about cryptocurrency, as you say. they do not have the maximum knowledge of cryptocurrency. and there may be many more reasons why they are afraid to invest.

People are afraid of investing in electronic money because they have suffered a loss when investing in altcoin. I have met many investors who have no knowledge of Crypto and they will often suffer losses.
The main reason is that they invest in the crowd and do not have their own opinions. Then they would hate Crypto and assume that it was a bad market.

Being afraid and being cautious are two different things and people i think more cautious than afraid. People may see crypto differently but they know there's money here. It's just that the risk is far more than other investments. Look at those that didn't think or made studies first before dealing with crypto. They're likely at a loss right and would't want to get back in it again

Show me the reason is obvious, I am also sometimes afraid to invest in cryptocurrencies by that reasons. You can just lose everything, and the risk is high.

In my country, when people hear about Bitcoin, the first thing that pops up in their head is 'gambling' or 'scam' because they only think that making money only happens in the real world. There should be a group of people to educate people about cryptocurrency voluntarily, at least. It is important to make the young generation aware of their surrounding. They don't need to work like regular worker if they know they also can make money online by understanding how cryptocurrency works. They may choose it as their main or side job.

People are not exactly afraid to cryptocurrency but they are just avoiding to lose money since the market price is volatile so there is no assurance that you are going to earn profit, people are just scared to take risk.
