I see no reason to keep those coins that I want. Everyone has their own opinion about the coins. And I also have an opinion which I adhere to. I keep in my wallet what I want.
I also have shitcoins in my wallet that until now it is stock and cannot sell in any exchange. No value or it is worth nothing. Mostly the shitcoins I have received are from airdrop so mostly indeed many shitcoins spreading.
I no longer count on bounty coins that are still not traded on the market, I think they are dead or so. But for projects from the list of the top 100 in my portfolio I have high hopes.
You do not lose until you do not sell.. Even if we know there are no chances for a coin to recover, we do not want to sell them for a penny and hoping in miracle to happen, but it won`t.
don't be too pessimistic the market friends will be like this forever I am sure the market conditions will go up but I have not dared to confirm when that will happen moment can now only add to the assets we have because of price cheap
Everyone has tokens of that nature in our wallet. Personal my answer would probably be because they are worthless. Besides, I'm not holding, I have disabled these tokens from displaying so I don't get to see them when I open my wallet.
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.
Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Maybe you are hodling them because they worth nothing and there is no point in trying to sell any of them?
That's quite an obvious motivation to hold I think

Shitcoin has no value and has no price. I don't want to spend my precious coins for a dime just to cover shitcoin transaction fees. For me, it's better to change the wallet address rather than having to pay transaction fees.
because a lot of shitcoin is a lot of trash and many people also get losses instead of making a profit by buying shitcoin. so this is the way I avoid the coin
Simply because they have no value, and you don't sell it anywhere. Some may sell but prices are too small for us to trade. So I think it's a reluctance to keep those altcoins in my wallet.
I also often find coins that I think are suspicious because, the prices are not so good and the ones who use them are a bit so I am very reluctant to buy these coins. It is better for me to put coins that are more valuable in my competition so that I can reduce my losses because of coins like that it is clearly detrimental.
Im about to convert some altcoins to BTC / ETH and keep just the ones i really believe will have some use case in future . As i see most of the alts are way down ICO price and its really hard to believe they will recover in future , but who knows , things can happen . Once i had a chance to buy ETH for 9$ , but i didn't believe it will reach even 50$ mark , but guess what ATH was 1200$+ =D
For those who bought those near worthless coins at icos price it is always difficult to sell at a loss. So holding them believing that they woul eventually appreciate is the only viable a d plausible business calculation . I believe as things begin to lighten up holding would become advantageous

Nobody wants it and you can't transfer it to anywhere because the transfer cost is higher than the value of the tokens. Its more logical to hold them in your wallet. Its also possible that you experience a pump in the price which could lead to higher value.
A lot of coins which was having good price gets plunged a lot after a big dump and that's the only reasonable reason for this thing. it's not caused by no market for these shit coins. but a lot of people are still getting trapped.

I never buy any shitcoins in the market, unless if I join in one project campaign were in the end I didn't know it was a shitcoins and its pity that I wasted my time promoting it. But I think to some individuals here they bought it due to they are hoping it will pump one day and they can buy it with a cheap price value.
In the world of cryptocurrency, it is impossible to draw a clear line that this shit is not taken, and this is the best thing to buy. Because the market changes every day and it’s very difficult to trace tomorrow.
Because shitcoins are worthless, if I throw them away but one day can live again then I'm sorry, I'm holding a lot of shitcoins that make me lose assets, a negative market is certainly a factor that makes too many shitcoins right now.

Although like what you have say the altcoins market is very competitive the shit coin today can be the top coins in the coming future and the best coin can be shit coin in the days to come also holding shitty coins in your wallet does not really cost you anything unless you are planning to restructure your portfolio if not just let it be.
It does not cost me anything to keep them in my wallet. I have already bought them so I might as well keep them. If ever they gain value in the future, it is well and good. If not, it does not matter now. I already scratched them as a loss.
