Actually,The market is not something you beat, but something you understand and join when a trend is defined. At the same time, the market is something that can shake you out if you are trying to get too much from it with too little capital. Beating the market mindset often causes traders to trade against trends.

Where are you looking at?
Maybe that is the price for buying that you have seen.
Why sold it in 5 minutes?
Well now you should learn from your mistake.
I dont think it is the trading website error but your mistake. Might as well look at it carefully next time.
Here on forum many its visible how many people are making same mistakes, that is cause they are to lazy to pay more attention on what we wrote here. We all make mistakes, but I'm annoyed too when I see people who cry cause of mistakes they made, they blame everyone else, everyone is guilty just they are not.
Eth made new all times high week ago, with crypto people needs to be patient and they will make profit, selling too soon and making this newbie mistakes is what stand between losing money and making profit.
Understanding fundamentals before doing a trade should be taking place first, as we knew that losing money is always possible inside the exchange making mistake because you don't understand what you are doing is not an excuse, since its our own hard earned money we should study first each time we invest.

Learning while researching will make you familiar on trading industry dont do trading if you dont have knowdlege on the basic procedure you lose because you not researching on what you bought.
First thing you need to do if you entering to any trading site make familiar on their platform on how to buy/sell altcoin and next read some announcement if you read some bad feedback dont buy the altcoin and last and most important buy altcoin with a potential to market like the top 20 altcoin in coinmarketcap.

How can we make money if the price between buying and selling is so high? It needs to increase ALOT for us to make a profit on cex.io for example..

Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf... Huh
The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. Cex.io doesn’t have the accurate price ??

Also using different exchangers with different prices plus the fluctantion seemed to be the reason why, also transactions are taking for ever to be confirmed.

you have a loss in trading your chances of being affected by the price decline and making you panic, you should be able to read and analyze market conditions before you buy the coin so as not to get stuck at high prices.

Most of the coin as of now the price is decreasing and ethereum also so if you bought at high price and decrease little I suggest you need to hold your ethereum and wait the price to increase again. You need to be patient if you want  to earn profit for sure if you have that you will earn profit why? Because you can wait the price to increase. Don't be worry for sure ethereum will increase again bro.

First of all, learn how to use the exchanges. Maybe you write a wrong price on you buy order. There are a lot of good videos on youtube from people who explain how the exchange work and how to serve.

You made the wrong way margins, taking high risks of earning may lead also to high loses.

Thank you all !!

I understand more now and know that I should learn and exercise with smaller amounts.

I still have these two questions . I would appreciate if someone can answer them.

How can you make money on cex.io if for example 1Eth costs you 800$ but to sell back 1 Eth you only get 700$ back ? Even if you buy low and the price increases by 100$ you would still only break even. Actually it should move up even more up because of the fees.

What exchange sites would you recommend ?
I'm not familiar with cex.io but i don't think there whould be a 100$ spread on the books. In any case, use better exchanges with more volume!
You can check markets, sorted by volume, here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets

See here 4 screenshots. The first is "buy". The second is "sell". (from BUY/SELL page)
The two last are from the TRADE page.

From what i see, you are unaware of what is market and limit order. Market order means - buy/sell me these many ETH whatever the price may be. Where as limit orders restricts the price to the limit you set.

Also when you want buy you get the ETH from people who sell and they sell in any number of quantities. To meet you need of 6.87 ETH the exchange will get from the best offers available for you from available sellers, hence you see those many splits.

One more important thing is Every exchange has a different price for e.g. in INDIA ETH costs alway 10% more then what we see in coinmarketcap

So, in your scenario:
buy - 6.875045         ETH @$543.3537201    for 3735.581276
sell - 6.875081042    ETH @$552.2569487    for 3796.811278

This tells me you actually sold more ETH than you bought. Is this your first trade?
Talk to your exchange about why you got ETH only for $3735.x when you paid them $4000

Sell
6.875081042   552.2569487   3796.811278
5.432099742   551.01   2993.141279
0.898   555   498.39
0.084   560   47.04
0.343   560   192.08
0.099999   560.0056   55.99999999
0.0179823   565   10.1599995
Buy
6.875045   543.3537201   3735.581276
2.827025   548   1549.2097
1   545.19   545.19
1   540.01   540.01
0.12   540.01   64.8012
0.543773   538   292.549874
0.5   537.95   268.975
0.884247   537.0055   474.8455024

You just sold your ethereums when the price dropped.
Probably you bought at $800, and it is now below $680, that is the main reason of why you lost a lot of money in there.

No I bought it at 15:10 when according to coinlivewatch the price was 570$ and sold it at 16:11 when the price was 618.

This is from my transaction history on cex.io
I don't understand why they devide it I transferred all at once and wtf these fees ..

If you are so impatient then you can not make good profits on trade. The coins will increase for a while and decrease. So sell it at low prices?
I think the trade of coins and patience will surely be profitable.

Here there may be some more few things which you didn't notice like ORDER SLIPPAGE or any kind of big spread or there may be some lag from the exchange server. SO better be on safer side while choosing the exchange and see whether their services are good and try to practice with exchange on the smaller scale for the first month and then try to go for trading full time on the bigger scale.
