Heard about BTC in July of 2013....ordered a KNC 500gh Jupiter miner July 1st, 2013....turned it on after I got it (filled with rainwater..I was freaking) on

Oct 18th, 2013 and BTC I think was $150 USD...I think I was getting 1 BTC a day...

The reason I got it was, I WAS BORED, I had like 4k of Game of Thrones Swords (book versions) before HBO hit..and said screw it..sold them for 4K

took the other 3k I was gonna put back into the BBS game server (lost gonzo bbs) and figured it made more sense to do this for the REAL 3k or so

investment on my plan to sell the swords (which I did, eventually) thus with sword profits ...real risk was 3k more or less (thank you HBO!)

I figured...a somewhat flat ROI of say 1 year..then figured IF I was lucky ..I'd get like 6 months of income to pay house utils or so..and call it a wash

as a hobby...

Also, looked at how it was being used in Cyprus to get around corrupt gov't and such and figured it would jumpstart the micro-lending loan/club startups that were starting in India

and that was my plan...do a little good...be less bored

of course, the unit ROI'd in like 3 weeks and then by Thanksgiving in the USA (around Nov 25th or so) BTC was $1,100 USD...

and we were off! Damn, I was such a nice newbie with modest dreams, kinda got away from me/us...

anyway, sure beat spending $60 bucks a month in electric cost to get the game server up, simply because I was bored!

A lot of folks, stumbled into BTC in this manner in 2013, very few of us thought it would be much more than a 'niche' hobby etc

I choose bitcoin because i believe taht bitcoin can totally help me to reach all.of my goals, and i choose bitcoin because i kniw to myself that i can make or earn many money profiy using bitcoin, and lastly i choose bitcoin among the rest because the price of it is very different among the rest.

Bitcoin has been the basic currency for the whole cryptocurrency. I chose bitcoin as it's the majorities crypto that has been used. Before starting in bitcoin I started to know on what are the pros and cons on it and after I took the risk there's enough reason for me to pursue bitcoin. And look on where bitcoin is now, people all over the world are getting crazy about it and starting to make money from it.

I chose bitcoin because of its unlimited potential and its good market value. Nowadays, it's price point has been increasing that it commands so much attention and entices a lot of people to invest on it, therefore, that would equal to a better profitability and marketability that are essential aspects of choosing a good medium to invest in. Also, I think that its status as a pioneer is the key because it is the most widely known cryptocurrency around, thus it's not difficult to market and promote it. It is never bad to invest in something that has better chances of being successful.

Yes, this is the first and the most powerful cryptocurrency, so there is more confidence to it and the feeling of less risk when invest in it

I got interested on bitcoin ever since my brother introduced me to it. It was also the perfect because the price of bitcoin was high when I started. I got lured in by the big money I can get if I get on bitcoin train.

In what way? In way of earning? this is pretty simple i means bticoin price and popularity, before i was thinking about bitcoin than the first thing i earn and read was the price and popularity of bitcoin and not only me but also many people prefers like me, that why only the price of bitcoin matter.

Altcoins have been growing right from the onset and they will always grow and in the next few years, even some that are still undervalued now will still grow. However, one thing with bitcoin is that it is steady and the growth is not like alts, which at a point they may be growing now and then before you know it they are taking a huge slope downward.

Bitcoin is just about starting and there is so much for it and the crypto at large but we cannot just put all our eggs in a basket, can we?
