Please don't crucify me. Some hours ago PayPal payment system made some good decision of incorporating into their system buy and sell of Bitcoin, this has made it price to move from it former state. Basically ripple would have be the best for them IMO, seeing that ripple is the future of cryptocurrency irrespective of it centralization. As a ripple holder from inception, I did want Paypal to reconsider the use of ripple as it stand at the frontier of this era of digital currency. Hope this message get to PayPal team for appropriate actions.

You have a point, Paypal should include XRP or exchange it to Bitcoin cash. XRP is a good one with fast and lower transaction fee. So, It must be Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin...

There won't be a time when PayPal will consider the add of this shitcoin, which was known as a scam project from the beginning and still be operated scamly. If this scam project is consider then it would not be a surprise to me personally because of their long history from their existence. There are good project OP should made good investment with than this scumbag scam project IMO. Bitcoin consideration came from it decentralization and haven been in existence without an administrator but functioning beyond expectation.

That's just your opinion because you're a holder of ripple but ripple is lacking compared to Bitcoin because I think it's a matter of popularity. There's not doubt that Bitcoin is the most famous cryptocurrency out there. I even know a lot of people who aren't aware of cryptocurrencies but knows Bitcoin. There's not doubt that there's a lot of people who wants to invest or know Bitcoin but has limited options, Paypal just gave way to them because there's a market in it.

By the way, are you serious or just trolling? If you are serious then you are definitely be worth burning at the stake. To be honest, though, I think Ripple deserves the spot taken by Bitcoin Cash. Paypal is adding Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash aside from Bitcoin. Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple could have been a better list.

Ripple has a good potential I'm sure they are going to add more in the future and Ripple is one of them, why not include Tron as well I'm not trolling Tron but it is good coin and it has gotten me because of it's very low fee and fast transaction, I used it a lot when Ethereum is charging exorbitant price, there are a lot of coins that deserves to be on the list and these 4 are just for their initial offering.

Actually maybe that was just the first step to accepting new cryptocurrencies. since bitcoin is much more populated paypal prefers to use bitcoin instead of xrp. However, as far as I know they are also adding other assets such as ethereum litecoin and bitcoin cash and this can be a great step forward for them maybe they could replace the bitcoin cash with ripple but considering ripple is centralized and other are not, maybe they they made the decision because of the centralization of ripple.

XRP is a centralized shitcoin with large % in the hands of the Ripple company. Pumping it means paying those bastards because they are regularily dumping their coins to pay themselves wages.

Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple could have been a better list.

OMG what?

Maybe in the future PayPal will add other cryptocurrencies to its service... The fact that they added bitcoin and a few more coins is just the beginning of integration! I think that all this will not happen right away and not even in one year...

Let's hope they won't consider XRP.

Because XRP is a legally scam coin Tongue.

You are holding XRP that is why you are posting this thread Cheesy. Adding other coins aside from Bitcoin will be done in the next months/years if they see this new feature to be successful. I just don't like the thing that they can't allow users to withdraw the bought Bitcoin. XRP still a scam Cheesy.

don't worry too much, they will add this shitcoin too. they have already added a couple of other shitcoins (BCH and ETH) to their system and they will eventually go the same route as the exchanges went and will monitor the market to add the shitcoins that have the highest volume and not just a high volume in a short time (like during their pumps).
for now XRP isn't going to be capable of giving them enough profit so in first phase it didn't make the cut.

Your whole statement is basically vulnerable because you're a long time holder of XRP, PayPal should have gone for it instead of Bitcoin. If it is for the sake of you holding it then wait a few more moments it could be fixed into their payment system in no time as Bitcoin holders had always waited. Truth be told, if PayPal had gone for XRP instead of Bitcoin it wouldn't make sense to anybody not even you the advocate of XRP. So appealing not to be crucified isn't acceptable.

If you want PayPal to add XRP in their platform it is better to request them in their platform rather than hoping that they will visit this forum and make the necessary changes like you wish Tongue. I do not care if they explore the cryptocurrency space and update their business model and they are adding Ethereum, Bitcoin cash and Litecoin but not XRP  Tongue.

If this for real, if the intension is to bring the message to PayPal.

This advise is really appropriate, as if PayPal rep will be here and read this thread. There's always door for every cryptocurrencies being added to PayPal platform after  Bitcoin. So far XRP stands at the number 4 slot looking inside CMC. Though ETH might gain it first if in case PayPal will add one at the time. Grin Wink

That would make you something of a saint, no, for what you've said you need a good spanking and a kick in the ass.

Ok, let's not analyze this by what bitcoiners are saying.
One bagholder of a failed centralized cryptocurrency says XRP is better for them, but the ones running a multibillion business think not. So, if this is a debate, why!, please tell us the reason why ripple is better.

Hope this message get to PayPal team for appropriate actions.

Here you made a mistake, and a pretty bad one, if indeed somebody with a say in Paypal's way of running things stumbles upon this topic and read not only your post but the replies also I doubt it will be good for xrp.

That said, I would rather see Doge being accepted next rather than any of the other top 10 or 20 coins.

Sounds to me like you might be a little biased because you've been a long-time holder. The truth is that Bitcoin is more appealing than Ripple for many reasons, a lot of which have already been explained to you by other members. However, the way I see it, nothing is preventing PayPal from making a decision to add it in the future if there is a demand for it.

I am not exactly able to understand the purpose of your post? Paypal has incorporated a method of buying and selling bitcoins just like coinbase or any other wallets so how can XRP be the first cryptocurrency? I haven't seen even a single wallet coming to XRP or other currency first without Bitcoin. Yes if the question would have been on incorporating XRP as a method of settlement of PayPal payments then I would have advocated this. But here PayPal has just become a new bitcoin wallet and nothing more than that. So your question seems illogical as to how Ripple would have been the best for them? Moreover, there is not a single use-case scenario of Ripple at a large scale I don't see Ripple as a future until now. Banks are preferring now to make their own blockchain for such settlements if that happens Ripple has zero utility.

Dont know on whats the reason but i cant blame them if they would choose up the best or most supported coin in this crypto market because we know on how shitty
the reputation of Ripple into this market where everyone do almost hate it due to being centralized.Do you really believe that if they do make XRP as their main will
really create that much of a news or attention? This is actually a part of marketing for Paypal, since they do know that Bitcoin does really have that extreme or wide
support then mentioning or adding it up into their platform will really give out some significant positive impact. What yah say?

Paypal accepted bitcoin as it is the first and the most trusted coin in the world. Whereas Ripple is a poor centralized coin that is mostly preferred in the banking sector.
Believe me, Bitcoin is a gift to the world, and Ripple is just a project started with the intention of making money.

Also, its founder owns one-third of XRP coins supply, if he sells all his coins someday? Imagine how its price will fall.

Quote
[..]
Ripple Chairman Chris Larsen owns around a third of all XRP. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also holds a significant amount, as do other senior board members. With so much XRP concentrated in just a few hands, there's a chance the price may be overinflated.

Some companies use XRP as an asset and for me, it's not a bad choice for Paypal. The decision of Paypal was just normal picking bitcoin since it is the best cryptocurrency available and most of the people are using.

I also don't like Bitcoin Cash and would probably gonna pick XRP than Bitcoin cash like other users, but PayPal for sure is gonna continue to adopt in the cryptocurrency environment and probably after a few months and years will support more of the cryptocurrency available in the market. Still having bitcoin is enough to start adopting choosing XRP over bitcoin is the worst thing they could do.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
[...]

I also wonder why they didn't include xrp since if this one will be added it will also minimize the hassle since the fast and cheaper transaction fee makes it's more convenient to us.

But also I think it will be added soon and if the xrp supporter will show a support toward this provably we can see it added on PayPal.
No need to ask PayPal already knows what to do, this is the first time bitcoin is used in the paypal system by buying and selling easily, but it's all still being tested (in my view) and if bitcoin stability happens to the future and not there is a big crash on the price then this is safe enough that paypal will be consistent against other cryptocurrencies to add and more options in crypto.

So this will not immediately coincide with other coins, for me this is also good news for the acceptance of crypto digital currency that has been approved in paypal. So what are you waiting for let's try. Grin

Becuz xrp and paypal will become rival, paypal will have its own centralized crypto.
