It's hard to compare slots and sports betting, slots are exciting... the flashing lights, engaging graphics, and the thrill of watching the reels spin create a dynamic gaming experience, and there the chance of hitting a jackpot or unlocking bonus features is especially exciting.

Experienced gamblers know that gambling is full of ups and downs, and if some people just lose they should think about stopping their gambling activities, or they need to think about what they are doing wrong... Nobody wins/loses all the time, for me it's hard to imagine that, but in case some people are so "unlucky" they should just stop and do something else.

Many individuals gambling are doing it as they think that's the quickest and easiest way of making money but those who has gambled know that's not correct. You'll lose more of your money when you're gambling therefore if you don't have other sources of money, it'll be difficult for you to continue gambling and not quit. Many individuals keep gambling as there's nothings that they think they can do that'll give them the hopes of become rich as gambling does.

Changing the types of game we're playing when gambling can help us avoid losses as not every individual will be good at a particular game or the luck won't be there as it is for others. Not every individual will be good with slots or dice games but they can do well with sport betting or other games. I noticed I was good at sport betting and that has been the game I play most times I gamble and avoid losses.

My friend also seems to be happy with slot games maybe because the game is easy so he never wants to try other games like sports betting because he never knows about any sports so he can't follow other gambling to gamble all he has in mind is winning at slot games and get the jackpot, hoping that the results of the jackpot can return the money they have lost because of their losses, while the money they get for gambling on average they work part time to get extra money to pay for their gambling on slots but there are also those who commit crimes such as stealing or borrowing money . everything is done to meet their needs

Possible things that they do have in mind;

•Trying to chase out those loses on which minding on having at least some breakeven.
•Looking for some big wins that could change the situation turns upside down
•Playing for fun
•Already addicted to gambling

These are just only common reasons and ways on why people would really be that playing gambling even if they would only just simply lose.
Specially on the time that you do find yourself that having that addiction then it would really be just that hard to break out or would really be able to make yourself having
that on point kind of decision on which impulsive emotions would really be your main enemy into this one.

This is why it would be always important that once you do deal up with gambling then you should really be that sensible on the things that you are dealing
with and you cant really just that make yourself that too careless or too confident on dealing up with something which can potentially make your life
change due to bad decisions.

I really doubt that this all about fun because losing frequently is too depressing already. I sometimes lose on gambling and I really feel heavy when this happened so It’s already a torture for people that keeps coming back even after losing frequently. 

I think the main reason why people keep coming back is because of the hopium for winning next game which usually doesn’t come true. This is the reason why casino is always confident for customers to comeback despite they have a responsible gaming reminders that boldly claim that gambling has high risk of losing your funds.

around the location where I live, there are also a lot of young people, even underage people, who gamble on slot games and as you said, they dont have jobs but can still gamble. one time I was really curious and I tried to approach some of the young people trying to give an approach. after they opened their conversation, I entered into the conversation and I asked them where they could gamble when they didn't work?
they answered that in fact they worked odd jobs but I was the only one who never knew if they worked odd jobs but several others answered that they got money from begging on the side of the road and the underage gambled using the money given to them by their parents.
but I see them almost every day in the same place gambling without winning and even occasionally collecting money from several people in that place just for the sake of gambling.

but for some reason, they still gamble even though they often lose, but if I look at their behavior and conversations, I'm sure they never stop gambling because they occasionally get big wins which have an influence on their minds so they keep gambling even though they lose, and on the one hand, gamblers who still easy, usually still very unstable, doesn't have mature thoughts without being able to control himself.

the thing is, changing the gambling game you play does not guarantee that you will win. also, even experienced sports bettors do not always win.

They gamble again with a hope that they will win this time and that is normal especially if you are into gambling already.
Though if you are losing consistently, most probably you are chasing your losses and expect to get it back if you will play again. There are reasons why gamblers are still coming back despite of the fact that we already know that the house will also win, another reason might be because of for entertainment purposes.

Some people just want to have hope and gambling gives them hope that they can win some amount of money and change the status of their life, this is why some people keep gambling even though they keep losing because there is this belief that one day they will be able to get a big win that will cover the losses they have made. Gamblers are an example of people who are always positive and expect the best. That is one good character to gamblers that I have noticed.

Aiming to recover your losses and win a good amount is a little bit bad habit cause we are all know that in the world of gambling we can not say that we are always the winner, we can not say that every failure when we put our bet we will recover it in 2-6 bet but in reality there's a chance to be addicted cause one thing for sure every loss that gambler will always aiming for the win then he/she will make a way to bet more and more.

Play gambling if you really want to understand what’s the driving factor that makes them keep coming back. It’s a form of addiction that makes user keep coming back. They probably have a target profit or dream to hit huge jackpot to recover all their losses and earn profit at the same time.

With this kind of motivation, There’s no stopping to these people until they get what they want or if they don’t have money to spend. It’s very easy for a person that already hooked on gambling to produce money especially if they have job or properties that they can sell immediately.

Responsibilities can only stop a person from gambling if they are responsible by nature. You can't expect a gambling addict to take care of their responsibilities and avoid gambling much if they aren't responsible by nature and they will always put gambling ahead of their responsibilities.

There are reasons why many are still playing despite of their losses and it's hard to tell the main reason for it aside from their emotionally attachment to gambling. Many are chasing their losses while some are just trying to have fun and didn't care if they will lose the money or not. The house will always win here and this is the reality, now if you can't stop yourself from gambling then at least have a good self-control and be more responsible as a gambler.

People today, even if they don't have money or work when they want, will find a way to have money. Especially when it comes to gambling. Most unemployed young people hope that with a small amount, they might be lucky enough to win a large sum of money in the casino or that they will get the jackpot.

• Addiction - This is the likely reason why they're still playing but it's debatable because there's people out that's not addicted but haven't won anything big in gambling but aren't addicted to it. Addiction can definitely be the likely reason for that unreasonable continuance of that vice.
• Entertainment - Some people find gambling to be fun and entertaining, now these types of people are different from those with gambling addiction, they just want to play with their money and they love the experience, most people that are like this are probably playing poker as that's where the fun is, when you're playing with other people.
• One Way Ticket - some might've pointed this type of gambler already but this is what I call them because they're most prevalent with lottery players, still putting up numbers that aren't likely to hit but they'll say it's worth it because one win is all they need.

Those are what I think are the reasons why people are still gambling despite all those losses they've accumulated through their gambling years.

The intention of making money by forcing actual gambling only makes them lose and lose again.
Even though it has spent a lot of money, but still has assumptions to make money.

Their real purpose is to return to gambling because they are also too addicted to the bets and games that have been done.
They expect the Jackpot more than just a regular win, because if they haven't found the jackpot, the gambling will continue.

But there is also no guarantee once they hit the jackpot will stop.
The more you get, the more passionate you will be about gambling and making big bets.

There are no controls on the funds used as well as when to stop gambling.
This will certainly be dangerous and in the end there will only be losses and lose everything.

People return to gambling because gambling makes them curious about their previous gambling. People who lose when gambling come back because they want to recover their losses, take revenge, and chase the win. We don't know where they got the money to deposit because they didn't tell us either. Even if they return to gambling, we don't know. Losing at gambling does not make them stop gambling, but they will gamble more often, especially if they have the intention of making money. They will also try gambling in other gambling games to see their luck because they think that it can sometimes give them a win. We have to be able to understand this and not think too much about it because each person will have their goal in returning to gambling.

Simply 'coz of the idea that some people are actually winning. Many gamblers are hoping for their 'turn' of winning in betting. Also nothing's consistent; you will sometimes win even with small amounts but it has a psychological effect to the gambler. Even with the smallest frequency of winning, it could push a gambler to have that expectation of 'almost there' which also pushes them to continue. There are also many gambling games we could choose from and that simply gives option to players to continue betting. There are also instances wherein a gambler is no longer aware of his losses and just hooked with the time his gambling habits are consuming and taking over on his daily life. And there are also a few who just enjoys the experience and thrill of betting. We just have our own reasons of why we are doing something despite of negative experiences and outcomes.
Strategies only work in some games but still does not promote certainty or does not still guarantee winning. Some wins due to martingale and such, are mere coincidence which is why it is not always working to every gambler. But this topic really rings curiosity of why we are still here even if we are often losing. And in my case, I am enjoying things. In the first place I am just losing an amount I can tolerate 'coz I focused with managing my bankroll, same reason why I am still consistently gambling 'til now.
