I think it is because of the misconceptions and negative ideas people come to believe about Islam. Islam, as it is discussed in the Quran, is a religion of peace. Therefore, what terrorists are doing and spreading are merely their own twisting of what the real teaching of Islam is. That's why many people hate it, for they don't know what the real thing is, and they only believe what they hear without even knowing and studying it for themselves.

There is no compulsion in Islam. And Islam is a religion of peace, so no one should hate Islam. Islam is peaceful, we call people to this Deen with knowledge and wisdom. I see no reason why anyone should hate Islam. Islam is Peace. I am a Muslim and I believe in Jesus Christ and all other Prophets of Allah.

Most people are scared or hate Muslims because most terrorist attacks are done by Muslims and they have a different point of view when it comes to religion. However, we should still respect their religious views and we should remember that Muslims are humans too.
I agree that Muslims are humans. But that doesn't mean that we should respect all the aspects of their religion. For example, their holy book urges Jihad (physical war) against the infidels. Why should any non-Muslim respect this part? And the same book calls for homosexuals to be thrown to their deaths from high cliffs. Do you want to respect this verse as well?
after a long while not checking the forums I see that the same threads are still going on, the hate on Islam is a very complexe topic, first of all people confuse Islam the religion and what do people make of it, just check out what is Islam is in Morocco and compare it to say Afghanistan you find a totally different narrative and I'm not even going to talk about the different currents such as Shiaaa Sunnii ect and then in the currents you have branchs Sophism wahabism ect.

I don't hate Islam nor do I hate all Muslims. I do hate Muslims extremists though. Unfortunately for moderate Muslims, the extremists get all the attention due to the violence that they commit. I also believe that the extremists and extremist supporters occupy a larger percentile of the global Muslim population than anyone will public ally admit.
Well, I think people don't hate Islam rather it is the bad people who are not practicing what the religion is preaching,that are making Islam look bad.so they tend to generalize based on their bad experiences.
I think the media has make us believe is a religion for terrorism and the believers has also fuel that fact by their action. Hence we all hate Islam. But I am not ,I love them.

It's because most terrorist attacks are conducted by Muslims. Maybe people already had a bad impression when they encounter Muslims or when they hear about Muslims. However, keep in mind that not all Muslims are terrorists and not all of those people who are not Muslims are saints.
Why do people of different nations and religions constantly argue? God created the world diverse, someone wants to walk in a bag with a curtain on his face, someone wants to bare his chest and ass, everyone has his own worldview and his way of life, nobody needs to impose his rules and regulations, the more ridiculous it is when the illiterate Asians are imposing their medieval way on Russians.

It's because most terrorist attacks are initiated by Muslims. That's why their religion already made a bad image on everyone. Everybody thinks that Muslims are terrorists, which not true. I really think that religion doesn't correlate with a person's personality. There are also Christians that are terrorists and there are Muslims that are kind.
