Trust may not be completely down for ICO projects but there are some people who complain because of the very low price when entering the market. They already spend a lot of money for an ICO and that they can price fall below the price of ICO.

We really have to expect that the price will not continue to become higher and higher, because it all depends upon the status of the market. That's why people you have to be open minded in that kind of situation before you invest on the certain amount of the project.

Those are all great points. I've just been building a portfolio of solid alt coins and I'm thinking, why would I not go and use 10% of my portfolio on projects that could actually make a difference? Can I lose sometimes sure but if everyone thought that way then would the first alts ever been successful and would we ever be debating in this thread? Idk just food for thought

I just don't get why people aren't trying to push good projects more than they are trying to shoot down everything

I still believe that those who have great knowledge about crypto have faith in ICOs. Most often, the non-believers of ICOs are the ones that have yet to understand the great advantage of participating in ICOs. These are also the same people who do not walk a single mile in getting to know the different ICOs offered. Most probably, these are the people who have tried investing without doing a little research and ended up scammed.

There are good ICO's, you just have to find them amongst the more common poor quality ICO's. If you use a systematic approach to your due diligence it is not that hard to separate the two.

Yes maybe its not easy for to find and separate those two but you still can not make sure 100% right.
For the other people like me too, its so confusing to find between potential and shitcoin one. So thats why till now i am investing but i am yet afraid with my decision.

People won't try to push good projects because the first thing that come into thier mind is all negative thoughts which can lead to disappointment at all times. Try to think on a positive side maybe it will help you to do not think bad towards ICO's.

I have kept hearing it's all in the approach, and that there are ways to tell good from bad, I don't know how things really work around here but is that something people would be willing to share?

Past experience.

Its probably because too many ICOs have already failed to deliver and even some have actually ran away with investors money.
Finding a good ICO is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Because some people think ICOs are all scams. Due to lack of knowledge about stuffs about ICO, they choose to stay away and avoid taking risks than doing research. Still, we cannot push people to believe to something they don't want to believe in the first place. It is their own preference. If they don't want to be educated, let's just let them be.

most of the time the majority of ppl have no idea on what they are "investing" in so they give all the good ICO's a bad name bc now many think they are all crap coins. Do your research ppl!
