I really think the main reason why most project tokens dump once they hit the exchange is because they lack a very good product to command demand for their tokens. Though there are other reasons like low volume on the exchange but the absence of a product is the main reason.

This is very simple because these days, there are a lot of scam projects who will give as much as 100% to token as a bonus for buying in presale. Do you expect this person to hodl their coins when they can sell both the bonus and their coins bought to get x2 of their principal? It's normal for the prices to drop that way due to high bonuses. Another point is that devs dump their tokens early because they didn't make much from their ICOs so that is a way of selling their coins.

I think all projects need to support their currency after listing, they dont do it and thats why price is falling

I think that there are devs, that drop price by selling tokens/coins after thet didnt succeed in ico/ieo.
Who else can do it? Investors - doubt that, why would invest in something you wish to sell soon. Bounty hunters can not also do that. Their token pool usually are 5-10% of all issues tokens/coins.

The price falls because people are afraid of losing all the money and sell under the influence of panic, or because the product was useless and did not attract attention.

The poor price of Bitcoin until recent months causes the new listed coin to be traded at a lower price. On the other hand, people lose confidence in coins that have existed for years, which is more bagging in newly created ones, and that is the other reason.

To me, when people invest in ICOs and they get enough recognition, they just dump it when listed. The team leaders also fail to follow and obey what is in their white paper. They are more interested in the sales not the project. This has resulted in people loosing their investment in ICOs.

First is the massive sales of tokens investors and bounty hunter. And secondly, it is the lack of financial support for the token. But it does not matter, many coins can increase their price.

Many bounty hunters immediately want to sell their tokens and thus kill the price, but also many times people have already argued that the investors themselves who buy tokens through ICO or IEO also kill the price of tokens because before that they bought tokens with huge bonuses, but many project developers are also engaged in the sale of tokens from the very beginning.
Bounty project payment distributions usually only less than 10% from total supply of those coins and i think this is not only the main cause why exchange price are less than ICO price and besides all of it the investors also taking part why the price more to likely dumped after got listing on the exchange because they want immediately ROI and if they thought the price is good to sold their coins then it also caused will dumped the coins itself

This as been a question running through my mind always. All ICOs have their ICO price and sales price.  The ICO price is usually lesser than the market price (that is why people invest to make profit when its listed).
But this days when coin is listed the price drop drastically much more than ICO price which left the investors of no profit.
What could cause this drop when listed?
Let's hear our own though please.

There are a lot of reason bounty hunters dumping their shares, we can't blame them it's an open market, investors dumping it also because of the huge bonus they've got and it is just enough to make a profit and go, and of course, the team dumping their scam for an eventual exit scam.

swing!
Just ask the communities who is going to sell off a new project if being listed, the fact is simple where profit is what matters. The selling pressure is usually higher on the profit range until it's under ICO price, noted that market is volatile and there's any that much liquidity for new ICOs these  days. it doesn't happen to all project like those from BNB where there's other factor that differentiate normal ICO with their IEOs token.

The most probably common reasons are:
1. The owners of some ICOs will sell some of the tokens to cover their expenses and for sure earnings.
2. Some of the Investors are joining the ICOs for the huge bonuses but not because they totally like the products in which the bonus and the discounts are already a sure earnings.
3. Bounty hunters are eager to sell to compensate their hard works.

If these will trigger after the unlock then most of the holders will get panic and the dumping will continue.

because after listing, all of them sell either investors or bounty hunters. after that no one else bought the token, and finally the token will disappear from the market because the value is getting lower.

Most of the time the team members or the partners dump the coin price! Look at the WPP coin! Everyone was very positive about this project, it's ICO price was 0.06 USD, it went to 0.02 USD before the official exchange listing! but now the WPP price is 0.0008 USD! What is the reason for this huge dump? the team members! The CTO played a game with the community, he doesn't respect the community's opinion or any kind of criticism! So, the community left this shit! In another ICO, they claimed partners are dumping the coin price! Sometime FUD can kill a project too, like the recent sparkster!

It depends on the project and the reputation of the exchanges like for an instance IEO on binance projects are guaranteed x3 or higher after listing. ICO's are dead now.

Agree, sometimes the choice of an exchanger determines the price at the time of the first listing on the market. If the developers team choose big  exchanger and has a large transaction and also has a reputation like binance, I think the price will go up high

It can also be manipulation here and there. You cannot prevent that from happening and I think it happens way too often these days.

I have always tried to understand this move from projects. I have seen a lot of this projects this happen and have tried to confront the team to know why this happened but they always have the same reply.

I think there are many reasons why the price of tokens fell when it was first traded on the market. Many people and investor blame the bounty hunter for dumping their tokens but it is also possible because the developers team were not convinced of their own project and dumping tokens for the developers team.
I think everything depends on the project itself, if it's good and has prospects, I think investors won't sell it cheap
