in the first instance, the price at ico are mostly on realistic, a project will put ico price at $0.01 per token/coin even when they know that the token those not hold any value at that time, investor will buy regardless then the real value will be determined by the market when it get listed on the exchange, so maybe when project owners start reducing their initial coin offering price to the lowest minimum then there will be increase in price when listed on exchange.

Many various aspects cause a decrease when listed, whether from investors who sell bonuses from the ICO continuously from bounty participants or from the developers themselves.

Maybe participant disappointed on what the plan of the developer to the project that cause selling the price at low price or maybe its marketing plan is not good to make people satisfy to the project goal and mostly some bounty hunter sell quickly their reward even the price is in the lower actual selling price.

Generally, the new coins that are newly listed on the exchange will always have dropped price. It may be caused by some factors in common:
1. Investor/developer strategy to take the coins for themselves.
2. The big selling from bounty or airdrop hunters
3. New coins are less of the trust and value.
4. The starting process of a token or coin in the new listing influenced by the market members.
But I'm sure that the good coin with the real product will have a significant increase in this price on the exchange or market.

It is really depends on the marketing strategy of the devs, it usually has a great factor in terms of pricing, I noticed that a coin that has a good team and focus on the roadmap has a good and consistent price in the market unlike those coins that has already abandoned by thr team usually it is just like a meteor rapidly  hitting the ground.

This as been a question running through my mind always. All ICOs have their ICO price and sales price.  The ICO price is usually lesser than the market price (that is why people invest to make profit when its listed).
But this days when coin is listed the price drop drastically much more than ICO price which left the investors of no profit.
What could cause this drop when listed?
Let's hear our own though please.

many people think prices fall because investors sell too much. some say because of the token bounty. and some believe prices can fall because the chosen exchange is not good and does not have a large enough trading volume.

but for me, this problem happened because of the team and the project. if only they could control rumors and prioritize quality rather than profit, this would never happen.

You know that even projects that get hardcaps, sometimes doubt the listing in a large exchange. because the fees are too high. and the team is too optimistic, while investors don't want to wait long, this is what causes prices to fall.

Why does the price fall? It is obvious:
- crypto market capitalization is constantly changing;
- many projects do not reach the stage of the finished product;
- incorrect marketing policy of the project team on the sales stratum (for example, large bonuses for the purchase).
Here are just a few reasons.

Most of the times people invest in ICO to make quick profit, so when they bought the coin they will expect bonuses and then when it hit the exchanges then they will sell all their coins, the bounty hunters also sell their coin, it causing a huge dump in the market and after that usually the investors not interested in the coin after they see a huge drop, so usually there won't be any bouncing price after the coin hit the exchanges

Most of the time the team members or the partners dump the coin price! Look at the WPP coin! Everyone was very positive about this project, it's ICO price was 0.06 USD, it went to 0.02 USD before the official exchange listing! but now the WPP price is 0.0008 USD! What is the reason for this huge dump? the team members! The CTO played a game with the community, he doesn't respect the community's opinion or any kind of criticism! So, the community left this shit! In another ICO, they claimed partners are dumping the coin price! Sometime FUD can kill a project too, like the recent sparkster!

This topic has often been asked by everyone here. No one has yet confirmed with certainty about this. There is only a mistake to blame each other when the price falls when it's already flat. There are a number of things that might be the cause that people often say is that Bounty Hunter throws tokens at low prices, investors who have lots of tokens and when they are registered, throw them away. And also Dev from projects that might have a large allocation directly sell and leave the project. That's what often happens when one another blames it.

The first thing that makes prices go down when the listing is the absence of buy wall or demand is usually related to the usefulness of subsequent coins or proggress coins so that there are no buying enthusiasts, this is sometimes made worse by bounty hunters who need money and / or early investors who get bonuses when presale.

Many factors why investors sell when token first traded on the market. It could be because the bonus that was given at the time of pre-sale was very large and the first investor tried to take advantage by selling the bonus

Because investors are selling that's why.
Normally this doesn't have to pose an issue but owing to the fact most team just promises one thing or the other just to get funds, thus most investors doesn't want to be left out thus selling as fast as possible. But when the project tends to move well, they tend to buy back too so as to make more profits or cover lose.

I agree with him, the hunter bounty seems to be the cause of falling prices when registered in exchange.
this is detrimental, because with that opinion dev makes an annoying rule. sometimes dev delays bounty hunter payments for a long time.
the policy must be evaluated.

Actually, not in all cases. The price already dropped even before they send those coins to their bounty hunters. I have seen a lot of situations like that. And how can you blame those hunters? They don't even have their tokens yet. So I'm thinking, the culprit might be those investors who bought the tokens at a very cheap prices because of so many discounts or the team themselves.

This is no more new things and happenings, most especially when it comes to listing of coins.
Most ICOs behave that same way, but in order to avoid this, some of this projects usually wait for their products to be ready and also to ensure they have done the necessary marketing. Through that success is imminent.

A drop in price once listed is one of the factors or characteristics of a new project. That is, once listed there are investors who would like to regain their capital thus selling. Some might even be afraid to keep selling not minding the price; then this is where the team sets in. The team can't control price from dropping, but they can set in plans which will help the price to gradually rise, therefore the importance of investing in a project with good team.

price determined by market force so at first you need to create the demand of your token and high liquidity and a real product so then price will not dump Smiley

Some answers could be wrong about dump price after listed. Investors sell their extra bonus, some bounty hunters and unsold tokens release after listed exchange.

It is because of the pre-sale investors who bought cheap tokens for selling to the next buyers. Exchanges are not running for free, they also have a price tag for listing the project, after getting listed exchange team will be paid in the token which will be used for the next dumping process.
