Hackers always want to find a bug and stealing our coin. Hackers stealing cryptocurrency because crypto still unregulated and untraceable. Its more easier for hacker to liquidating crypto than hacking banks account
First why there are still many cases of hacking. because many people on the internet have the intention of working to steal. of course they will always look for ways to steal and hack someone's wallet, someone's site, and many others of course to get financial benefits

Its not  bitcoin fault or other altcoins fault that hacker manage to inside your account. That will happen if you didnt make any caution first to prevent anything bad happen. Thay why we need to safe our private key in the safe place.

Exactly  .  people got hacked because they are careless enough on what they do  and they didnt even put 2fa's and otp's just to secure their accounts .  aside from that , may even put large amounts of cryptos on their unsecure account while they are dealing with unknown sites and unkown users which can result for them to get scammed  .

Frauds , scams , hacking  , etc and any other crimes were just only normal because it does even happen offline or on any other systems and platforms  but its good if you arent be a victim by them because money is a precious thing as it is hard to earned .

Is it really that hard to prevent hackers from hacking exchanges, wallets and God knows what other methods they use...
I mean how on earth is crypto supposed to flourish if it's so venerable to hackers?
Every month a huge hack happens and totally destroys the crypto image yet again.
At this rate, bitcoin will go to $1 as it gets hacked every day.
Is it possible to take simple precautions to protect against hackers?
For a so called "unhackable" wallet, private key ect, it seems to be a cake walk for any hacker.
Sorry for the rant, it's just irritating to see crypto slowly dying because of hacks.

Bitcoin is not being hacked the ones that are suffering the loss of the coins are users and while it may seem the same it is not, there is a big difference when it comes to exchanges most of the time it is an insider job, someone that was part of the organization stole the coins, and when it comes to regular users of cryptocurrencies they lose their coins because they do not secure them appropriately.

Well you can't say that this situation it's present just in the crypto world.Like everyday a lot of sites are hacked and data is stolen..In my opinion the crypto wallets are pretty safe, just be sure that your passwords and private keys are at a are in a safe place.

There are many reasons why bitcoin and crypto related exchanges or users getting hacked most of the time because unlike in the out side world there is no centralized authority to make actions against them for an example if some one rob fiat currencies even effective or not there is a police department to complain regarding the matter and follow the matter but in the digital world still we don't have such things so with that freedom hackers do large scale criminal activities targeting crypto related exchanges or users to make profits

Unfortunately if there is money there are always scammers. You need to take care of the security of your electronic wallets yourself and do not provoke hackers.

It's all about how you use Bitcoin. Bitcoin itself is almost impossible to hack if you mean generating the prive key of a public key where some Bitcoin is stored. Theoretically, it's possible, but practically impossible. Hacks always accur when you try to access your Bitcoins from an unsecured device or you store them on an exchange and you don't control the private key.
Most people call this Bitcoin got hacked, but this expression is completely wrong. The people got hacked, because they used or accessed their Bitcoins in a wrong way.

Worlds Simplest Cryptocurrency Wallet
Actually hackers don't have into wallets, what they do is use phishing means to get people's private keys/pass phrases which gives them access to the wallet. Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is actually secure.

Hackers have the motto "No system is safe". This is of course because every system has a little gap for hackers. And of course because of the efforts of these hackers, Crypto Developers will more easily understand what their systems lack.

I still hold the opinion that the safety of your bitcoins depends on you. If you choose a reliable wallet, you will not trust anyone with your passwords and laptop, you can assume that your investment will be safe.

Because this system is new. Many techno or whitehats are still trying to configure a way to make it safer by the day. Also new people that has little tech background involve in the fomo and also to try it can be bulberable due to ignorance.

HAckers are borned gifted they are more genius than somebody who created exchangers or even our wallets,so this means we must accept the reality that we cannot prevent things from happening, theres always a victim to have a criminal, same as somebody need to die for someone to live

It is not the coin itself that is vulnerable to hacking. It is the wallet that holds the crypto that is vulnerable and that is because there are much technologies that is being used to design this wallet and unfortunately hackers will always look for loopholes.

my account always got hacked, not my bitcoin wallet and crypto but my google and facebook. my bitcoin wallet never got hacked, so dont said 'always' even my bitcoin never got it

Hey if you're not aware then let me remind you bitcoins security features make it unhackable, no one can hack your bitcoins but the same can't be said about exchanges or places where you store them. If you will remember in the past so many exchanges have claimed they were hacked, and they decided to shut down and people lost their coins but it's always an insider hand in the hacking. Let's take the latest electrum wallet phishing case where updates were send inside the wallet, and many gullible investors lost their coins as the wallet was hacked not bitcoins.

I think the answer is pretty obvious. It's almost impossible to catch the person who stole those cryptocurrencies since everything is happening anonymously
Yes it's true, the digital world like Bitcoin is indeed very vulnerable to hacking, because everything is anonymous, making it an opportunity for hacking crimes. So to secure your assets, you must have good security for your assets.

I am agree, we should keep safe our private key and not share it to anyone we can not trust. When hackers stealing our coin, they control it and they can hide it as long they can or cash it. In digital world, we should always careful when we visiting a website

I think the answer is pretty obvious. It's almost impossible to catch the person who stole those cryptocurrencies since everything is happening anonymously. Hackers know this and they take advantage of it. They have the knowledge to steal those cryptocurrencies and they know it's very hard to trace them and even if those companies who got robbed go to the police nothing will happen since cryptocurrencies are still a new thing even for the FBI or CIA(anyway, they wouldn't care about a simple hack unless it happens to a multi billion dollar company)
