Just the fact that people who have gambled much experienced a win at least one time. Now they think that they can keep winning but they have to know that the chance is still bigger that they will lose.

Gambling will be not that bad if you addicted to it but you have to play with small amounts and that is the best tactic that you can have so you are not losing that much money but you must dont make yourself poor.
If that happens than it is bad and it is addicting because people think that you can earn money with it but that is actually not true.

Yeah that is completely true. Same goes for trading stock on paper or demo trading.

Its easy to make millions when money isn't on the table, but when you trade with real money, it all of a sudden gets harder.

The mindset of the many when it comes to gambling is wrong. Making money in gambling is hard, you need to be very good to achieve your goal. Some of the addicted are those who gamble for money even without the right amount of bankroll. Their projections are unrealistic, putting small amount of bankroll and target to gain huge amount.

It is just the tendency that you can double your profits. If you need help to stop gambling, I would suggest you keep a diary entry of your wins and losses and compare your loss with the amount you could have earned without gambling. This helped me to stop although I still sometimes play dice. Hope this helps.

Gambling is addicting because there are still a lot of people that likes to gamble and they think that they can be rich with Bitcoin but that is actually not true.
If you are gambling you have to control yourself otherwise you are going to lose a lot of money with it and that is bad.

humans really want to try the hard way thinking its easy or one way of the other. we like hurdling on obstacles but sometimes we love to play a game while the game itself does not fit for us. so its not about addictive all the time. its about your attitude towards the game. Grin

Other people, however, get too sucked up in the astronomical odds they face and view it as astronomical potential (a big mistake). Study the odds and try to understand them. Everyone knows the odds, but not everyone can picture them. It's fun to take risks of any sort, just don't forget to try to understand them and don't let them get too large.

It's human nature to have greed. Gambling is a great way to feed that nature. People tend to gambling again and again to earn profit. After you win you'll gamble again and again and again.

They think that they are going to win again and make a profit but they are just losing. Even tho it is true that the chance is bigger to lose they are getting there hopes hope and keep playing.

If you let yourself slip, and become greedy, you might lose more than what you intended to. It is when you follow strict discipline that you can succeed not only in gambling but in life.

yes I play too greedy. I normally use capital 0.01, to get 1 BTC. meaning I had to change my habits. with capital 0.01, at least I had to make a target 100% or 0.02

Yes, when a gambler is not gambling for making money, then the chances for getting addicted to gambling is very less. So gambling itself not addictive. Only gamblers make themselves addicted.

This is because gambling is really risky, and risk is still a part of gambling that anybody needs to wary about because it can cause a lot of tension in playing gambling and because gambling is supposed to be pure luck base and there are a few that are very luck indeed.
