Yup! Eagerness really is troublesome at times, and I think what is your loss in gambling you need to accept it and don't try to be eager to take it back instead try to make it as a lesson learn for you because it can cause you much money if you do that and it can turn out to be very addicting sometimes.

We all are striving for the answer but looks like its the hunger of winning ?

Not just winning, but it gets more dangerous when you try to recover your "lost" amounts...
It makes you more and more greedy when it comes to getting it all back, you just martingale, double and triple your bets unless you are either back in profit or you are completely gone...

First problem people do not go for gambling only with the money which are affordable to lose. When they face loss, they start to chase down their losses and keep on gambling. When you are spending more time with gambling it will become definite addiction.
