Along with greed is following the fake hype that attracts more investors until it stacks up, giving the scammer lots of money with no actual project to do. The hype is what drives these people to invest immediately without reading the paper and realizing what they've done. All investments, even on small or big amounts, should always have initial research since transfer of funds in crypto-space is irreversible. All your points are points are true and these points are what we must avoid as much as possible.
We have been educated and taught to trust and not to question anything: that's why we fall into pitfalls that easily cheat us.
We raised to believe that all people are nice and after we get old, we learned that it was not the case. rather it's a man for himself. If we don't act like a man we are easily get fooled by these people who we taught are nice. Scammers are everywhere each one of them has their own bait to get innocent people trusts and when they get those innocent people's trusts, they will do their things and run away with those people's money. FOMO, Fear Of Missing Out. Someone if see the crowd people and see that people buy that coin. He will try follow it. They don't care is it true project, who the developer, etc.
They only see people is always talking it, maybe that is real.

Yes, I might say you have good points there, but even if you abide by all those three points, you might still be a victim of scam. Better still or in addition to what you have said, I would advise that no matter how much you know about a project or the team, only invest what you can afford to lose. Yes you have done your research, do not put your whole fund on a project.

I agree. Such things should be important in order for you to avoif getting scammed and at the same time, have a successful project involvement. You should not be attracted to luxurious promises give on the whitepaper, instead try to do a background check on the people running the project so that you may know the credibility of the said project. Make sure you understand the things being mentioned on it so that you can be aware of what's happening. Aside from those mentioned No matter how you are good for detecting probable scams, Sometime those project that we believe a legitimate one suddenly became an exit scam, thats the reason why even we just doing a little researched about the project we like to invest. Point number one is the main point that causes many people to fail in investing. People who are planned are the luckiest people because if their profit targets have been reached, they will not fall asleep and start thinking about plans for future investments. But, not with greedy people, they will do the opposite and will wait without certainty the target of their investment. Even in a condition, even if the target they want has been achieved, they will continue to take risks again without careful planning.

Yes, we have less scam projects now at the beginning. But we don't know if they want to develop any further after making so much money through ICO. We have so many real proof that the price is just constantly dropping on most IEO because the team doesn't care with their project.
Weve the point that you have said is already correct, we are very easily tempted by big offers and we do not know that they only attract the attention of us and investors especially those of us who are greedy will certainly easily become victims, so in following a project we are more first had to know the team that worked on the project if it had always been active in the telegram then the project would normally run smoothly, now we must be careful because scam projects have often happened.

As we know swindlers nowadays also evolved and used styles and convincing power and knowledge to scam all of us. We need to make known the common observed btc scams to protect our currency. We can also used internet for some list of scammers and btc scam websites. Also if you’re a novice invest only to reputable campaign and developers for security. We need to be vigilant and cautious in everything we do especially here in crypto not only the new ones but all of us. 
Greed is the main cause of getting scammed easily. I lost around 25k usd in 2016 because of scam and it was purely because of greed. Though it was in a HYIP program and not in a crypto related project but i think the main cause in any case remains the same and that is greed.
these type of scam are base on investing into projects. there are other scams like buying some products which were not sent to their doorstep but have sent BTC to the scam sellers. there are really people who are really out there preying. most scam in the forum are about ICO and yes you can call it greed when someone promise them they can instantly profit when they are offered to invest in casino tokens.
Nobody’s perfect, even if you have invested in the most legit project you will never know the outcome of the project. But the important is you don’t rely your judgement and invest in a project because someone shilled it to you, in the end its your own decision to be blame.

I can imagine that the huge bounty rewards quoted in fiat currencies are difficult for newbies to resist. The huge are the main cause of the greed. The bounty managers seem to understand this and are probably using this against them.
The lack of knowledge about projects is another good point. Many hunters don't care to go through project whitepaper and Roadmap. Those should always be investigate for project quality, uniqueness, originality, viability, etc

People are easy to deceive. With a good looking guy with an equipped skill of communication, even if he is a scammer people will trust that guy. "Hey, you should invest on our project, we have what you looking for. Profit is easy with your investment." I'm talking about here about the investments in general not just in cryptocurrency.
People remember the number 2, YOU SHOULD SEARCH ABOUT THAT PROJECT. Don't be gullible enough to be scam easily by these scammers. Being ignorant in cryptocurrency can bring you nowhere.

Thats true, besides having knowledge about what project is all about, there is the need to do a background check to verify claims, team integrity, authenticity of documents etc. Almost all scam projects will fail serious scrutiny with enough research. The main reason is, people don't read well, don't research hard! Only proper knowledge can help you to get out of the other two options. If you get the perfect idea about a project, you will know what to do. Greediness, fake promise won't affect you at all! I have seen many projects where developers always talked too much, but they did not have any real use cases. For example, I wanna mention the Bitdepository project, where many people got scam in a different way.
So, people should read carefully and they should invest in a project which has real use cases, or big partners and media coverage!
