Media at times to make common news more interesting make additional phrases to the news statement. This makes the news go viral and a very few know the truth behind the respective news.
I think that it's because media is controlled by the government. They believe that Bitcoin is a greater threat to their economies.
Bitcoin is not being showed as a negative thing because the government wants to control Bitcoin. The government could be purchasing Bitcoin along with the media.
Journalists need news that will arouse interest. And negative news is more interesting to ordinary people.

You must have heard the proverb "Half Knowledge is dangerous", the same proverb applies to the media these days. Most of the journalists have absolutely no clue about the market and they just try to scare the people off. Also, a lot of people who weren't investing in bitcoin were hoping for the bubble to burst, and they did send a wave of negative vibes across the internet.
I do not exactly. What I think of is that they want to mislead the people because they are threatened or what. Or maybe they do not want them to believe so that they can still buy at a lower price. For me, they just have their own hidden agenda.
People are now more active in web/internet and some media are taking advantage of it to spread fake news and earn money. This is why we should always double check if the news we see are legit and find other source because we can not trust media on every news they give.
The reason why Media is negative about bitcoin includes the decentralization of bitcoin which practically disallow the Banks to have access to your cash investment , which also mean no commission on all transactions concerning as many that have invested in bitcoin. And on the part of Government, No power or control over your digital currency. This arouse the negative report in the Media which might have been sponsored to ensure that many members of the public see bitcoin as a scam, as a ponzi scheme and to scare away members of the public from having anything to do with Crypto currency. Some media that are controlled by Government were used to propagate false and Negative reports about Bitcoin.
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

Media and local news are always looking for topics and scoops that would catch the interest of the viewing public, it only proves that bitcoin is really gaining popularity. that is why they are following the latest development on the status of bitcoin, whether it is positive or against it. First, you must understand that the media is a tool; A tool of propaganda to distort the truth and present a false side to what cryptocurrency is all about in the hands of those that feel threatened by it or some just wish to attack this novel and technologically advanced method for doing business over the internet. It is Clear that ignorance as the second point can be the propelling reason for this negative news about the crypto world.
Thirdly, past experience by others investing in a dot.com business is what has fueled this hate. summarily put, ignorance, hate and fear may be the reason.

Mostly media negative about bitcoin that no one has control over it. it's decentralized completely. It can be transferred from one account to another in mere seconds. It’s also an unstable form of currency that can switch value at any given point and we all know for media it likes whatever in their favor but whenever it comes to matter of bitcoin it was never in favor of media because of the tremendous freedom currency that ever created by human being it's totally free from from the controlling effect from the mass media.
Media always carry all sorts of nonsense and the yellow press can be a heap to read and notice when you just left the house and go to the subway. And they get paid for this negative good money.
