The media is negative about Bitcoin because some of them are forced by the government to show cryptocurrencies in a negative way or they might take bribes from the banks, running a TV channel isn't cheap. There were a lot of interviews with bankers and cryptocurrency enthusiats and usually bankers were laughing at cryptocurrencies for being worthless. What a pity that they don't say that money we use is worthless and expensive to produce. Ordinary people unfortunately don't do research on their own which results in many misunderstandings.

Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

Media houses in most countries have lost their independence and are sometimes subjected to external interest from people with personal interests. everything in the media is not always legitimate and we should do a proper research on what their warnings and see if they are legitimate. I however take the media warnings positively as as it increases BTC awareness and by the warnings, it encourages proper research before investing, which is a good thing

The first reason is that media had quite a struggle when going from a paid printed to a free electronic form. Hence they had to find out new ways to fund themselves... to survive literally. They mostly garner the funding through advertisements and they cleverly notice that people like to react on FUD and clickbait.

The second reason is that the most of the media are financed in the same way as politicians are - by private capital. The persons behind that capital usually have some benefits in controlling the media and politics, and hence also politics control the media. Now, blockchain was invented to take the two most powerful instruments from the hand of the private owners - centralization and control over the creation and distribution of money. Hence the FUD and general negative reflections in media.

Media generally is either supported by governments or owned by the big businessmen which hate crypto currencies (in general) and fight them. Governments in most countries still trying to support their fiat currencicies and discouraging their citizens to invest or trade Bitcoin and crypto currencies.

This is very true this is paid media out here, which has sold itself to the government and the rich businessman.
Plus the truth never sells so they'll make false accusations about it. Then second fact is media is scared government may ban them, and the businessman may not give them money for their business.

all medias are payed so theres no doubt about it,but the guy is true, that medias are owned either the government or big companies that manipulating the system,so lots of bad write ups had been created just to put bitcoin down.but they are failed because whatever they do our community stays strong and stays healthy.

I think the media can't accept the evolution of Bitcoin because they can't accept the change of the future of cryptocurrency but the power of bitcoin is unstoppable and the media can do nothing about that

It is because media are influenced by government and politics. Some medias are controlled and payed by government to spread news about bitcoin - risks and negative impact that might  happen if bitcoin falls. Because media has wide range to influence people, government use media to spread negative news to brainwash people who wanted to invest in bitcoin and to people who already invested to bitcoin to have doubt about the capabilities of bitcoin to change someone's life.
I agree that the government is behind it. I think medias are paid by the banks of course the government to spread this negative news about bitcoin. We know media is popular and most people believe it if what their news is about, so people believe it and the effect is discourage to invest. But despite of this negatives news, more people are interested to invest in btc.

Very simple logic, media are commonly controlled by governments and those politicians. If a government is against bitcoin, then they will cal, those media people to make a story and publish them to spread in the whole world. There is nothing new about that. Government and media are allies.

well I've answered these questions and just to add: imagine that tomorrow you become the only person on the planet with superpowers, you would be on the cover of the newspaper every day and the critics would surpass the compliments

This is good enough explaination why bitcoin become negative in media's eye so i never surprise about it.
Become superpower is not guarantee for us to get all people emphaty so just consistent with our opinion and reason.

I think media is negative about bitcoin because of our government. For me government ordered media to be negative to it because they hate it. They hate it because bitcoin don't have tax and it is not legal in our country. Government so hate bitcoin because they know that there's a possibility that someday bitcoin can replace real money to our country.

I think the media is controlled by some invisible or shady corporation out to put an end to the glory days of bitcoins. There are a lot of reasons as to why these people want to bring bitcoins down and probably another good reason is to manipulate bitcoin prices by allowing negative news to slander newbie investors, inducing a panic sell, lowering the prices by a big margin and allowing big fish investors to buy a lot of cheap bitcoins.

For me, media is negative about bitcoin because of the government and some factors that are saying, that lousy person is using bitcoin to sell their drugs or using bitcoin to do their evil stuff. We all know that bitcoin’s capability is superb that you can transact a digital currency anonymously and it will be complicated to track of is that person. The second fact that I see is the government sector, yes they have the jurisdiction to ban bitcoin in their state.  Smiley

Media news clearly indicates that they are not biased and mostly go for the more TRP. When bitcoin price was increasing their views were different, when price goes down they are making money both ways. But reality always sustain because the serious investors do research on the going trendd

We already know how these media moves and take advantage in these kind of situations. It is either they explain it in a wrong way and probably a bias statement or they don't care if will be detrimental to the person, group, or an organization that is involved just to take advantage of scoops like this. The best to do for a person is to do some research and verify if the news is true or not even though these media is really a powerful way to deliver information and the influence is great.

I thinks it is two different thing  about media reporting what the government’s decision and opinion on bitcoin. It is their job to report and deliver to the public what the government has decided and has said about it but for media alone to make  statements and give their opinion on the matter, it is wrong.
