Well it says that muslims can have more than one wife if they can manage to support financially and morally all of them. It means that no one of those women does not feel neglected in any ways. It also says that it is ok to have more than one women if all of them are agree on that and there no jealousy between them.

Absurd! You want more wife? Do you have lots of money to feed many wives and many children? You will become a problem of the government if you can't financially support your so called wives. Come to think of it, it is not a joke, Muslims are allowed to marry more than one because of tradition, however they are not allowed to do so if they are not financially capable.

That problem doesn't exist in the Islamic world (especially in the middle east), because the women are treated like slaves in these countries. Most of them times, they are confined inside their houses and they are allowed to go out only in the company of men. It doesn't matter to them much, as they are quite unaware of the outside world.

Lol! Kinda thought about that too. Itnwould decrease infidelity and adultery cases right? But culture and religion has its own say in this matter and i'm not sure why its taboo but for me, as long as you can support it and there is consent by your wpuld be wives, its okay

Maybe because we have different religious, in muslim's religion you can have a mary as many as you want as long as you can do support them to all what they want. But in Christian we only believe that we can only love one.

Theoretically if a Muslim man want to marry another woman, then he needs permission from his first wife to do that. But not always it is practical. Considering the extremely weak position of Muslim women, they may not be in a state to say "NO" to their husbands. If they do, then the individual will just divorce them and marry whomever he want.

This is I think is because of their customs and traditions. We can't mess with that. All we gotta do is to repect them. Meanwhile, my point of view about this is that MARRIAGE is sacred. It is built in love and trust. Marriage is a gift from God and should be enjoyed by two people in love. Marriage is a covenental relationship. It is not about just being happy together but to adapt to each other.

Hey guys so I have been doing a lot of research and thinking and all have proven that there are more women than men....so to equalize it all i think everyone anywhere should be allow to marry as many woman as he want in other to share all the women equally....give me your though every one
Just brilliant idea. I think it should be allowed for sure, not everyone has to participate though. Also for you out there that think the Muslim wives are like the high maintenance brauds
we got out here dont even try. I think they are very obedient to their husbands and as a result I think that is why they are able to handle more wives.

In western nations, the women are allowed to have multiple boyfriends. But it is not allowed for a women to marry multiple men. Fraternal polyandry is practiced even now in certain remote regions of India, where there is a shortage of women due to the killing of female fetus. That would cut into the domains staked out by mistresses, kept women, playboy bunnies, penthouse pets, consorts, concubines, call girls, street whores, crack whores, Hustler girls, internet whores, Hooters chics, and so many others.

I think everyone is entitled to get married and get their spouse. Based on the survey data obtained by the number of women in the world more than the number of men, the women are entitled to get married couples even in polygamous conditions.Islam allows polygamy, but with the policies and requirements set forth in Islam, polygamy can not be done in vain.
if we do feel capable and can be fair to our wives, we may do polygamy so that none of our wives feel did not get justice in living it.
