I am playing games online too besides playing gambling and I think both have differences but I like to play the game especially with the adventure games. sometimes, I play games online with my friends and sometimes, we use the money for bets and if someone of us can win then the money will move to the winner. I see that the challenge is not the same but with money involved, I think it's more challenging because we want to be the winner so we can try the best things that we can to win the game and take the money.
People have their own preferences though. You can'y tell someone who enjoys the simplicity of baccarrat to just play dota2 right? These aren't the same things and gamblers and gamers don't have the same interests all the time
You have a point but I think he is just saying that gamblers can still gamble or bet on games like Dota 2 or LoL not play it directly. You can't just cover up your adddictiveness to gambling just by playing online games.
I guess gambling or betting on online games will be better but I think you should know the game entirely since you can just bet blindly right? Also, professional gamers are a becoming a demand now and I think it is better to be adaptive to this state.

I agree with you. As a gamer (but not a pro gamer), its better if you put your time in just playing online games like ML or LOL or Dota 2 instead of gambling since both of them are just for fun and entertainment purposes. The only difference is you will not spend too much in playing online game, just your time.People have their own preferences though. Well, we have our own decision to that if somebody want to play online game then let him be if sombody whats to gamble then go for it as long he is enjoying that thing. 
I think it is because the excitement of having a chance to win huge amount of money by gambling in the casino is much more attractive to people rather than online gaming, there would always be some people who just enjoy the thrills of betting huge amount of money in the casino as they could become rich overnight if they are on a lucky streak that day, but I think whether it is gambling or playing games online, it still serves the purpose of entertaining folks who wants to relax their mind after a hard day work.

Another thing is that people who like to meet new people, be with people and make friends how will they like online gambling where you cannot see anybody else other than your computer. So it is beneficial for such people to go in casinos and gamble and enjoy the environment.
It's beneficial for people to go to casinos but it's not a necessity and we can prove it by thinking of the fact that most people don't go to casinos but still are able to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I think its an combination of fun, pass time and the possibility to win Big!
I would rather spend 0,05 BTC for some fast action on Betting or Slots than 0,05 BTC paying for games that for sure will take much more of my time and its comes with a 100% "loose all my money" guarantee on it.
But..i understand you, and its very important that if people want to try to gamble with their money, they should never ever spend more money than they can afford to loose.

Problem is that people cheat in games, even when its not for money. Even if its perfectly even, not even game has a straight competitive edge to it or it might take alot of time to organise and be ready for. Some games even require alot of time and practise to maintain that skill set and all for no reward.
I think people should do a bit of both but I dont think either eclipses the other as they meet different needs. Gambling is more relaxing for many people I think, just a bit of fun not everyone on the edge doing it necessarily but its also possible online games can be very involving and good value for money for many hours of play

I think because it is already their vices and it is their alibi for them not consider as a addicted gambler. Many gamblers will always refuse that they used gambling to earn money because it is really wrong, so they always say that its for fun and entertainment. They are quite similar. There are people who play pubg and get skins or clothes or whatever they sell. Or get fortnite and get something shiny and what not. Some people are still playing pokemon go (me included) and spend money to get coins and buy stuff there and spend time.
However some people just favor gambling over gaming. I for example gamble with smaller amounts like couple cents at most on each bet and my wagered amounts are really funny and low compared to how many bets I have done, I am almost at "faucet levels" of betting comparing to my bet numbers. Hence I do not spend too much money on gambling, probably less than many people spend on games, which results with me having fun with gambling like its a game.

They were right not everyone has the same interest when playing and that's how people are unique in each of everyone. And this is your opinion that most of them could take it and most could argue you a little bit more. People are so unexpected and not that really contented to everything if they know they could be more than what they are, they fly to that wall and jump in to another wall.
