We accept that fact and that's tempting to do if you ever know how to gamble. Having a glance on how much you can potentially earn with gambling will encourage you. That's me before but life changes so do mine.

There is an exception, few people make money in gambling and find riches.

I do not know if you have ever tried, but have you tried to play some of the games in a casino without real money? Because if you do you will realize that the games by themselves are not very fun, what adds the thrill and excitement is the possibility of earning and losing money, on the other hand video games are designed with the intention of being fun from the very beginning, so it is very obvious to me that the nature of the games are very different.

This explains why those that gamble are not satisfied by just playing video games, the concepts in which they are based are completely different so a person that gambles for fun is not going to necessarily like video games as a substitute.

Yes those type of games are good for pastime if you really don't have something to do with your time but these games aren't the ones that was described by the topic starter. Online games like those MMORPG, MOBA, combat FPS and other types of same game. I enjoy both games, gambling games and online games but I usually stay with online games when I'm enjoying.

Yeah you are right it is good to play online games for time pass instead gambling and losing money. The problem is this that those who are gambling addictors will gamble only and they have no interest in online games. There mentality is only to win big money in short time and that’s why they gamble online, but the results are always against their well.

Yes, they have their brains, they're minds to know or tell them what is right and what is wrong for them or maybe for their future but still, I am wondering. Why there are still a lot of addicted gamblers if they know or can tell the difference between right or wrong? Gambling is well, not that wrong but it will lead you to the bad side of your life.

They should realize by now how bad Gambling can affect their lives and not just their lives, they will also be affecting the lives of their families, their parents and their siblings and I think that is the worst effect gambling can give.

I think those who are gambling because of loneliness and depression are those that doesn't want to deal with people. Being around people will just remind them of their loneliness. They have to open up to people and not do activities with them. Perhaps they don't know anyone who they can confide in. Gambling and other similar activities allow you to escape reality momentarily. This is why a lot of people keep on doing the same bad habits that they have. It allows them to have a little bit of comfort in their world full of discomfort. So sometimes these addictions aren't really because they are hooked on the thing. It's more because they feel like they need it in order to feel normal.

First factor I am seeing : If you're a kid , you like to do or to play online games than gambling or even online casinos. They find it quite boring. Meaning to say, age plays an important role. If an individual is mature enough, it will choose online gambling than games.

Second factor I am seeing : we can earn money in gambling (although not necessarily 100% chance of winning) but still there is a chance to earn money. In playing games we get nothing.

I think the best answer for that is many people believe that because they say gambling is for their past time and they want to have also earnings while having past time. Unlike in online game many people don't earn while playing unless they are in a tournament. But for me I believe that if people wants only to kill time or past time I also suggest them to play online games rather than gambling in order to avoid losing of money and save it.

People have different thoughts about this. Online games is a good way to put the time pass without even spending lots of money, but there are also people looking for past time and at the same time finding ways to win something like money. Gamblers are different than gamers, that's why they share the same world in online technology because they both are just letting the time pass and also for recreation purposes.

Well i think its because they cannot find the happiness they are looking in online gambling. In online gambling we cannot find new set of friends, we can just log on if we are stress on work but doing it alone is not a stress reliever. It will just double the stress you are facing.
Also the gambling can bring you happiness when you won, some colleagues will celebrate it with you, and it will give you money.

Sports betting is more of a long term kind of thing, ideal for someone who follows that sport closely. I do like that aspect but its hard to get really nice odds on a bet, usually it works best where the odds have been swayed strongly by the crowd themselves and ended up unrealistic because fans can be looking at glory too much over realistic outcomes.

In that case I'd say the best odds are vs other players, the house just sets up a standard set of games to get people involved
