Yeah, I know it's different but they still playing online games and in other time, they still playing gambling too. I don't know what their reason but I think as long as they can enjoy their time, they will still do both. Maybe if they are bored with gambling because they cannot win the game, they will stop for a while and only play an online game to get fun and enjoy the game.

Yes some of them play online just to pass the time and majorly other play for the money and this is where trouble starts for many of them. While those who are extrovert and like to make new friends and have a good enjoyment visit the casinos and prefer this rather than playing online in solo.

Well, most video games also provide quite an adrenaline rush, particularly if you are playing competitively.

I don't think the adrenaline rush is the major factor in this, I think the truth is most gamblers have the false belief in the background that they are going to get a lucky streak eventually and win big, truth is it rarely happens.

I agree, it's like playing poker, and without money, it's just plain 'ol playing card games, and that's just it. It can be a practice, but with money on the line, you would have more effort in thinking the strategy you are going to employ. The adrenaline comes rushing through the veins and feeling of the veins popping in your head, that's where the improvement comes from, where it's competitive plays.

I don't think losing, in the end, is enjoyable. It's just plain losing and nobody wants that in my opinion. Are you like that? I think people should just prepare with what you are going to gamble with, the amount you are comfortable losing, and just play. Losing still hurts no matter you accept it or not.

There are different definition of fun, others are happy doing just playing games and others are happy by having to bet something in return for their happiness. Yes playing online games is fun but it cannot satisfy a gamblers greed for happiness.

People want to use any short cup way to make money, that’s why they gamble. But they are wrong because nobody can make money in gambling rather lose his own.

We accept that fact and that's tempting to do if you ever know how to gamble. Having a glance on how much you can potentially earn with gambling will encourage you. That's me before but life changes so do mine.

There is an exception, few people make money in gambling and find riches.

Nobody I know that gambles plays gambling games, as the truth is that there’s not as much excitement and thrill in gambling if there’s nothing to gain or lose from plying the game. The fun part of gambling comes from the risk and reward like wxa7115 said, and when that’s removed you just have very basic and simplistic games that truthfully aren’t very interesting.

I’ve actually won around 1 BTC total gambling online, though I’m slightly negative in winnings, so it definitely isn’t impossible to win. For me, it’s the same as gambling in a physical casino for te most part, and I also know others that have won big in gambling. Everyone’s experience is different, so I understand where you are coming from.

It would still depend. Others are just gambling so they have something to be addicted to and now that their money is draining because of that bad habit, they have to find a substitute which isn't as expensive as gambling. In online games, you can find a community. That way, you're going to have a sense of belonging while being hooked on something. Before, I used to like gaming, then I didn't, and now I do. It's all about finding what games are for you and what aren't. Just because a game is trendy, doesn't mean you're going to enjoy it as well. And sometimes a game might have few players but still be enjoyable for you.

As kids, we used to substitute punishment for reward. You get to punish your opponents when you win or your opponents get to punish you when you lose. It's still the same reward mechanism going on in your brain which makes gambling fun. Without it, you're pretty much just practicing for whatever game you're playing.

You are right; the aim of gambling is not fun rather they want to make money in an easy way. These people are living in the heaven of fools. They know that gambling is not a way of making money but a way of losing money. You will earn money with hardships and lose just in minutes in gambling. Sensible people never gamble because they know the consequences of gambling.

The mindset a lot of people always have towards gambling is for sure to make a lot of money from it, otherwise, we would not see someone say he is trying to use some strategy to rake in some good wins or some sort, and for real, it is normal as every human mind is fashioned to at least want to try to win in whatever they do, but the idea of not facing reality and just hopping into the gambling platform thinking it should bring in some good stories is what has made a lot of people to face the harsh nature of gambling.

Some might claim they do have fun, but if we really want to be realistic, fun is just what some people framed up to be able to curtail themselves from things getting out of hand.
