Actually they are waiting for the right time to release their bitcoin, because the current situation is arguably less critical. But some of them also hold bitcoin because they think bitcoin is something worth investing, so they hold it and will release bitcoin if it's urgent for them.

I think the reason why people hold their bitcoin to wait for the bitcoin sale price to be very high, but everyone has different reasons to hold their bitcoins.
There are some people who hold bitcoins for their personal assets digitally and there are also some people holding bitcoins for future investments.

Some people are waiting for Infinity, but am into it for the currency value of Bitcoin, the investment growth is just an additional profit. I think people keep Bitcoin to continue to make a profit. The price of bitcoin is increasing rapidly and this is the opportunity for many people to get rich.

There are two types of holders, one is the die hard holder that is not going to ever get out of bitcoin and the second is the one that thinks that is going to profits from this situation, I have not get out of bitcoin for the simple reason that I do not think bitcoin price is going to be that low and after some time is going to recover, so what is the point of getting out bitcoin?

i used to be that one who only depend on situation to get profit or hold for a time period and then sell after rise in price for short term but now i have enough confidence after seeing the rise in the price over the year.
i think the price is going great and its fall its time period will be too small to be recover so, i think investment for long term is preferable instead of short term.

Wrong. You need to see on a larger scale. For example, when I heard about Bitcoin about a year ago, it was around 500-600$. Now its in the 2700$ range. See, this is why many traders wait, they try and analyze the market trends and try to predict whether market price will go up/down from a certain point of time and then think about whether that will be the perfect time to gain profits.
This is the reason traders are unwilling to sell at any point of time, they hold for inflation.

And they are right in their expectations imo. When existing problems with Bitcoin will be fixed nothing will be stopping it from rising anymore. History teaches us that people who hold their coins in times when most people around are selling will not regret later.

My wife wanna travel with the money i can get from bitcoins, i told her this investment i wont moove until 2020, the next bitcoin halving where i do expect bitcoin around 5000 dollars or even more, she doesnt care and we had discussed, i dont wanna to use my coins, since i believe it will be more valuable over time, my childs can take advantage of bitcoin on the next 5-10 years.

But how could we know if it would be the right time, what if you converted this time of year but in the next year it has a better price? I think its more than just investment. If you really wanted to make profits, then you don't need to save all of it in your investment. Sometimes 'profit' is not a term only as economical in numbers. But also as a form of materialization. Making profit is not just making more what you've capitalized, but making it put into use, that's the true profit.

This is a real factor in this field that .any people are making money only by buying and holding btc and nothing .
Here the reason to buy only btc and hold is not only single but many .
1) Many people who are millionaires but have no time to give for the trading , so made buy and hold for long time .
2) Many people made buy but don't know how to use to grow , so they are only waiting to get grow .
3)Many people have trust with the btc only because other new coins are going always dead , so more better to out money in btc .
So These reason plays an important role in the newbie and other person who have no time , and also they really made.much earnings in this way with very low risk .
