Because everyone wants to take advantages of their fellows. The world is full of lies and unfairness. Everyone wants and demands honesty but they themselves can hardly be honest with their fellows. I goes like that, honesty begets honesty, lies begets lies. Honestly speaking, i myself cannot admit that i am 100% honest so i also cannot expect others to be honest to me 100%.

There are many reasons why people are choosing to be dishonest. First,they are afraid to hurt other people on the truth they know. Second, about motive, some people are telling lies because they want to get what they want. Third, they want to gain more information about what they know, so they choose to hide the truth.
Depends on what you mean by honesty. Everything is relative. You know just trying to do our best out there 
Everything depends on the person, on his upbringing. Nowadays there are rarely people who can keep their word, be responsible for their actions.
indeed all back to their individual respectively. but at the moment we are very difficult to find a person who can keep his promise.but there are also people who bebohong for your good. it all depends on the circumstances and conditions why the person is lying against
Different reasons for different people but the most popular is profit in many ways. At my opinion it's not wrong and truth is not always the best idea.

It is because of change. Sometimes and somehow people have another business to do with other people in other place. They need to cope up with the most important things then that is the things they do. Whoever experience the same. Everyone have the same opportunities and weakness. To lie is not the problem but to lie in almost every day and every minute is the problem. There are people who lie unintended. There are people lie intended. It is a matter of facts not just base on emotion.
Well people are not honest because life is not that easy, people will always try to make money in the easiest way,and if the easiest way is to lie,they will lie just do not trust anyone easily.

People became dishonest because there maybe something that they want to have or to be that they cannot achieve if being honest. They may have hidden agenda, dedication and motivation to gain something that cannot be acquired of being true.

More on for the dishonest person maybe its because for them its better to be lied.. For good than to tell the truth that hurts for them love ones.

I'm always honest with friends...that's probably why I don't have many....However, having a lot of friends might mean I had really shallow friendships.
