In my opinion not all people are not honest there are some people still honest, like there is good people and there's a bad. or maybe it depends on the situation, or you just had a wrong perception of honesty. and you cant say all people, there is always a balance between honest and dishonest. for example a taxi cab found a bag with money on it, what he do, he go police station or radio station to ask for help to find the owner of the bag. this story is real, my questions is, is this person is not honest? so I think we are not right to say all people are not honest. there is still honest but of course there are some are not.

A good reason that I know, and what I've read in a book is being afraid. It states their that people are afraid to hurt themselves with the truth, the same that they are also afraid to hurt someone with the truth. Thus, resulting for them to lie.

there are some situations that lying could avoid someone from getting hurt or if the outcome would do better to majority of people. People lie just to feel contentment and to make their self look good. Each of us lie for a reason. Some lie because they don't want to hurt others and some would lie because they find it amusing.actualy most of the people trying to say lye because of money,main thing that is the reason.in the court if someone can reserch there final reports any of case finaly u can found main reason money.

Why innocent 3-years old children lie? Very offen they have not any reason for this. They just do it because they can. Lies is a part of our creative nature like dreams and desires.

I feel for you bro. I think the very reason why people nowadays are not being truthful is becquse pf q need. A need for something that they tend to not say truthful things. Like when people are scamming, the need is money. Therefore, they will not say that they are scamming for them not to get caught.

Honesty is a great quality of humanity. People have to sacrifice many things to live the right way. The only people are happy, but their family is not well. The society is full of corruption. So people are being dishonest in keeping with the society.
