Parenting comes with a lot of work and educating the child on the danger of some action goes a long way to saving the child in the future when they are no longer with their parents, and it doesn't necessarily need that the child is exposed to it before you give them the awareness on the dangers available in the society and how to handle them.
I use my personal experience to check this thing, when I was young, my parents use to tell me real-life stories and sometimes we had both the good the bad and the ugly so those lessons thought us how to handle some in our real life.
Gambling lessons should be thought to young kids so that that knowledge will help to guide their actions when they grow up.

I think these types of people are at high risk of risking their lives in my opinion. Imagine someone uses gambling to feed their family, and you said not only one person but people are using gambling to feed their family. That means not only food when we talk about these kinds of things, but everything the family needs they use gambling as a source of income to meet their needs. However, I think this is a bad habit. If you are sure that they are people doing this seriously, it's bad in my opinion. However, you see, these things are predictions, and I believe using gambling to feed their family is a way of being addicted to gamble.

However, I believe that those who engage in this type of activity should sit down and consider alternative sources of income because gambling does not always bring in money like other side jobs do. In my opinion, you lose money more often than you make it, so I fear for those who engage in this types of practice that there will come a time when they cannot win their tickets and may need to conceal something very significant. I also wonder how they will handle some of their situations if they use these only gambling to feed their people at home.

Gambling is for fun. It's not a way of living or someone's primary income source. If you understand this, then the whole concept of this will become clear to you. Gambling does not require special knowledge or skills. It's sometimes simple games or something else which depends on your luck. It's always a 50/50 chance no matter how you look at it. despite what it is, people get the thrill of taking risks and potentially winning something that is like a dream. It is a kind of entertainment if you take it as a fun activity. The rush in blood and brain attracts people. Also if we look at it in psychological terms, the dopamine release in your brain gives you satisfaction which can be achieved by gambling. There is more than one reason why people still gamble. So people will still continue to gamble despite all the allegations. It is not a mystery, it is all in human minds.
 

It's not easy to control yourself when you are gambling but it's probably the best way to prevent yourself from losing a lot of money. People become sad, angry, frustrated, and afraid when they start losing constantly, and due to the mixture of emotions, they don't understand what they should do and it makes them take hasty decisions so they start betting with higher amounts so that if they get a win, they can recover what has been lost.

What happens is they don't get a win, and their thought of recovering everything at once actually snatches away the remaining money from their hands as well, and the only emotion that remains after all that happens is regret, but nothing can be done then, so it's important to just have patience and control.

In fact, they just want to get big wins at gambling, so that keeps them returning to gambling. They already know the risks of losing money at the gambling table but that doesn't stop them from trying to win big wins. And if they could think about how much money they would lose, they would definitely rethink gambling and maybe gamble less.

But even if they manage to get a big win, they probably won't stop and will try to gamble again another day to get another big win. Gambling can indeed make people tempted to play gambling without stopping and people should be aware of this and only play gambling in moderation.

It should really be explained to them properly what gambling causes when addicted to it. We know it's not good for minors, even if children see that their parents are gambling, for me it's still not good to be a habit in front of them.

Now, as the eldest among the siblings, it is not easy to remind the siblings about something like this, as long as it is possible, your siblings will not see it as a good thing to do. As much as possible they should not try to do it of course.

If people kept losing consistently they would be stopping gambling in a very fast way.The reason they all continue to play is that sometimes they win a huge multiplier like x2000-x3000 in slot machines as the most played game of all casinos in these last couple of years and then they say to themselves,what if I could hit that max prize of this slot machine that is like x100.000 for example.It is exactly this that keeps them coming back in the hope of getting that prize and while doing so many people lose a lot of money until they release that this is not good for their finances or their mental health.Everyone learns in his own way but that is the primary reason why most people still gamble,to hit a super huge win.

I don't think that many gamblers take their passion for gambling as a way to make money for a living.  Most of the players are still well aware that the casino always wins in the long run and understand that this is not how to earn money for a living.  But the passion to gamble still remains in the player’s brain, and the most correct option is to play for not very big money and treat the lost money simply as another payment for the emotions and experiences received during the game. 

Of course, I'm not talking about super professionals in the game, for example, poker.  Such people, of course, can earn a living.  But such people in the world are one in a million.  This is a rare case.  And among such people, too, there are crashes and losses of entire fortunes.

We have our own decisions to make, we either gamble or make room for other activities that will bring the money coming in. Many people gamble because they hoping to make additional funds for themselves. First, we must develop the mind and focus on winning without becoming too desperate; otherwise, it will consume and control our minds. Gambling is not primarily for those who are serious and have made the critical decision that will make things better for them. Although I cannot guarantee that it will be trustworthy, it is hazardous, and we will buckle up our losses and smile when profits are achieved.

I think that in a way it is, after all people know very well what they are getting into when they gamble and they should know that over the long term they are going to lose money, so the fact they want to recover the money they have already lost reveals the inner thoughts of someone incapable to accept the consequences of their actions.

And it seems to me the main reason for this is their greed, as they simply refuse to accept that suffering some losses are part of the game.

But many gamblers can't think of such thing before they gamble for believing they can make their money grow. This is also the reason why gamblers are keep on playing, the thought of winning instantly is stuck on their head. Then will only realize the mistake after experiencing consistent losses and much worst if the money is what they can't live without.

Anyway, if you're a gambler, it doesn't mean you have no future or your life is wasted. Because it depends how you deal with it and how you treat gambling to not have a bad impact in your life. There are gamblers who are successful on their chosen career while playing because gambling is just their way to entertain themselves. Thus it depends.

That's one thing, if there's already that thought built on our minds, we don't care who's gonna care to us but one important matter is we're gambling no matter what.

This is a terrible thing when a gambler does this so that he/she can gamble. Let's take the reality that many does this and many of those didn't result well. They think that they can win somebody's money and will just have to casually return it and take the profit out of it and boom, they're out of the debt that they've taken and easily got money from gambling. Nope, that's not the easiest solution and many have been f'ed up with it.

Im not sure if it will be indicating the greediness of people. It's a common thing if people just wanna get back what they have lost if they have lost a lot. It's not undeniable if some people can't accept the loss.
People just need to take care of themselves before they will try to bet use their money. They must be carefully deciding how much money that must be wagered.

I very much agree with you, major problem we have in our societies today is that most parents don't give their children the time they need, most parents of nowadays are extremely busy themselves and have not the time to pay attention to what their young lads are doing outside home, or even in their private space, like in their rooms with their phones or personal computer..

You can’t control or limit your kid to have access on gambling since internet makes it accessible to everyone while most of the kids on this generation can't leave without gadget and internet since it's the new way of communication and learning things.

As parent, I think it's more suitable to educate your children about potential risk of doing instead of discovering it by their own and experiment on it out of their curiosity. This is the common mistakes of parenting, They don't want to tackle things like this that eventually being discovered by their children by themselves and secret this from their parents.

As for me i think the parents owe the children nothing to explain for them as long as they never let the vacuum of their responsibilities in training the children remain void, when your children never have access to gambling or where they do such then you owe them no explanation, parents have their own part they play from their children way of upbringings, they must not engage doing things that we will not be aware of which may affect them in life the wrong way.
