That tends to be the case most of the time when a smaller percentage of something that is good isn't counted when a larger percentage is bad, whether it's a cast, it's a thing, a nation, or anything in general. 10% good is a very small number to make something to be seen as a positive thing, so if 90% of gamblers are bad and lazy and don't work, the 10% that is good wouldn't make gamblers look good.

But to be honest, I believe that number is more than 10% because I know that there is a very large quantity of gamblers who are responsible and they take care of everything else and continue their gambling activities when they are free or have extra money.

Only then gamblers can enjoy gambling and stop right away because stopping gambling is the most difficult thing to do. When the money is still in our account balance, it can make us want to continue gambling and many people have tried it. But the truth is that they lose money in many games instead of changing their life by winning. Maybe they will test many games to find where their luck lies but it won't be easy because it also requires a certain amount of money before they find their luck. Third, they tend to make biased conclusions and selectively remember only the wins while forgetting the losses.

SOme people feel superior and believe their abilities or luck are greater than others'. They also believe that after a series of losses, a win is bound to come, or after a series of wins, they must use the moment and continue playing. These illusions of control and biases support gambling as a successful venture. This way of thinking can often lead to problem gambling and even addiction.

But, there are also people who don't have a problem with gambling, although they regularly practice games of chance. It's about the so-called socially acceptable gambling, which doesn't bring psychological or social problems. Since ancient times, people have been finding ways to please themselves and have fun. And one of the oldest ways in which people had fun was various games of chance, which over time developed into the various forms of gambling that we know today.

When a person first starts gambling, there is a tendency towards gambling. Yes the most used reason to ban gambling is because of religion related thing, as gambling is a sin in most religion.
Some other countries including my country even consider gambling as a crime, I have no idea why but gambling is not something that harmful for others as gambling might be harmful for the gamblers only.


Gambling is bad or not is depending on how we look at it.
Everything in this world may have negative and positive effect, if we look at the negative effect only then yes everything will be bad.
On the other side, if we look at the positive effects only then we may forget about the negative effect and we may fall down into the negative effect unconsciously.
So we have to look everything proportionally from both the possible negative and positive effects.

Almost any kind of hobby which you may imagine still requires that you spend some money on it, so what is wrong with gambling a little bit if it brings you the experience and entertainment you are craving at the expense of some money?

We don't see gambling as something bad that can destroy your future unless you are addicted to it. I think the country you are in is not pro-gambling, which is why they kind of criticize it. Also, one of the reasons why they still continue to gamble is that they are either trying out their luck so that if they win big, they can change their lives; the second is for fun as the feeling of playing in a casino is unexplainable; and the third is that they are addicted to it and can't control or stop themselves from playing it.

Not sure what others may think or what are their reason but what I do believe is that gambling is designed for us to feel such this demand and desire .

I am a gambler myself and yes i am a loser but still gamble till now.

Some people gamble for fun without addiction which are in majority, however there are some who gambled irresponsibly such that that when they eventually became rekted and bankrupted this became visible to neighbors and close relatives those type of habits portrays gamblers in a bad light which is why parents warn and discourage their kids to desist from gambling activities, from own point of view the number of gamblers who gambled reasonable outnumbered the few addicted ones that is why the numbers of gamblers continue to increase in leap and bounds therefore I don't see the number of gamblers dropping in the nearest future.

    -   Maybe that depends on the government of a country, because there are countries that prohibit gambling and most of them are legal in their country. Because even if they ban it, gamblers will still find a way to gamble illegally because they want to.

That's why in other countries instead of banning it, they made it legal so that they can still get tax as long as they provide the necessary documents that must be submitted for the gambling operation to be legal.

The situation where people keep on losing on a gambling platform but still keep on coming back is a mystery of it.  I agree that there is a psychology behind these actions but isn't everything have their own kind of psychology behing them?

I am one of those who experienced winning and losing but in time of a losing streak, I also came back to gamble.  Others may have a reason that they come back because they want to recover their losses but it is different in my case.  I came back because I am entertained by how bonus wins are triggered and how playing on a single slot often ends up in a bankroll depletion.

I keep on gambling because I wanted to observe the behavior of slots, the possible pattern to see, and how I am too bored when there is nothing to do during my break.  I know others have their own reasons and observation but it is just me.
