Money is the key factor for most of these guys, you'd be surprised how many of these guys are running multiple projects as well.Due to the attention that is now focused on the ICOs there will be a lot of people coming along and creating an ICO for no other reason than to rip people off, this will happen for sure and we as a community need to be aware of this.
First of all, they want to make some money, but people who target only in this usually make scam projects. If we talk about projects, which wants to provide blockchain in different spheres of our life, this is very nice for progress and sounds promising. What about copies, someone wants to make better coin than original and that okay.
It's obvious that main reason is making quick money. Almost all ICO' s get financing during market growth. We see result now. 80% of projects are scam or inactive. Where is the responsibility to investors and comminity?
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? 
because many people here want to try profits, cryptocurrency is like playing gambling, there is no guarantee for you to always get a profit. dare to take risks in order to get big profits.
