Some time ago there was a trend to invest in risky and little-known coins and people created them, made them popular and artificially did + 300% in a few days...
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? 
Open-software technologies-have their advantages, which enable anyone, including fraudsters to copy the code and give it for their own development. At the same time making minimal, sometimes purely nominal, changes.
Scammers, copying, for example, the bitcoin blockchain code, assign themselves intellectual rights to the work of a huge bitcoin community.
In the future, changing only insignificant parts of the code to your text.
And putting such a fake on the market, loudly declare the next genius and revolutionary blockchain of the next generation.
Many non-professional investors and traders invest their capital in such fraudulent projects, which then disappear with their investments.
And this fraudulent way of attracting investments is the only reason to create this kind of cryptocurrency.
The always and only reason is the root of all evil which is money. Some people got serious and frustrated in ICO and invested time and efforts in doing bounty campaign projects just to create their own coins to have money fast.
Just to ride on others with advanced technology by perfectly scamming them and get fleed is the mind of so many scrupulous Developers, while some of them still are genuinely initiated to facilitate patronage of their product or creating awareness or campaign for their kind of Businesses,

1. They need quick money
2. They want easy money
3. Creating coins is more promising and have huge potential to finance/launch a project than raising money or getting investor in crunchbase and gofundme.
It seems to me that in most of all cases everything is connected only with the fact that people are trying to earn this way for themselves in their lives, more precisely not only for their own, but for their sons and grandsons, just so it can be called.
Theres a lot of oppurtunity here in crypto. People dont want to waste this chances. Altcoin can be an advantage to us as long a they have a good project. Who knows but it might change the market to more positive way.
Money is the key factor for most of these guys, you'd be surprised how many of these guys are running multiple projects as well.Due to the attention that is now focused on the ICOs there will be a lot of people coming along and creating an ICO for no other reason than to rip people off, this will happen for sure and we as a community need to be aware of this.
They don't waste time. That's the speed. Try to make people feel they are trying to improve themselves. In fact, it's all about making more money. 
Some of them have a good idea and serious project, so the main target is to develop good product poweres by coin, some of them just scam... and some of them just want to make money on ICO and thats it
it's not a waste of time it's about the money and the prospect of the project it is what new feature a coin has and what changes it can bring to the whole industry

They are not wasting their time, they are doing it not for nothing but they are getting more than enough they are expecting by creating their own coins. They have goals and purpose on why they keep on making their own coins and that is to make more money, they don't care on how it will give reaction to the community. What only matters to them on how much they can make from ICOs / crowd funding.

Everything rests on money. The creators want to make money. The question is in another, in an honest way or not. Every day more scam projects. Very few creators who really are for an idea, the real development of their project and coins

they making money obviously, make they own ICO and new coin is the reason to invite people join they project or ICO. with a team and support ICO will success and new coins has come out in to market.

Various reasons of course.. Most of them want to finance their project, so they offers some programs to be funded. And this cryptocurrency world provides them with these coins. At the end of the day it is profit that they are looking for
The world needs new ideas all the time and I'm not against the fact that new projects are being created now, but I'm very categorical if the coin is created very similar to the already existing project, because it's not right, the world does not need such projects.

The main reason is, People are promoting their own ICOs. This will really help full for them to grow their business. But now a day most of them creating the tokens to cheat people and make money soon. Thats why only many scam ICOs around this forum.
Most are creating these coins to make money unfortunately at the expense of the masses. Hopefully you can sift your way through the multiple ico's each day in order to find the gems out there.
Aside from making money they tend to believe that creating their own coins may bring them to fame. Some are just for their own inventions, new discoveries, to test their ability to do so.
