Yes, more and more airdrop programs from various projects. In my opinion, Airdrop aims to build the popularity and community of a project. By distributing several coins for free by indirectly advertising projects for public viewing, even attracting investors into the project.

Hi guy, I think when the ico need to announcement their ico to wide investors, they will to the airdrop! and the airdrop help them grow big comunity!

before all the airdrop was meant to be profitable but now their is only many airdrop that will scam your wallet or took some data about you for the exchange of the airdrop .

That's a cheap way to advertise and make their project known by most. It's been effective since there are too many bounty hunters out there that likes to stay with airdrops.

What's the purpose of the airdrops in the first place? that would also answer your question, promotion, advertising, exposure and overall marketing strategy, there's also a lot of ICO's including the scam ones, failed and abandoned that's why there are so many airdrops that give a little penny to its participants, just be careful to some campaigns others are requiring to download some programs that contain viruses or KYC to its participants given the fact that it is just a small amount of tokens.

Market of cryptocurrencies is constantly developing. And there is no surprise that more and more airdrop and bounty programs appear on the market. More projects need promotion that can be done first of all through airdrops.

Some ico is hosting an airdrop for many reason, some of the ico is doing airdrop to boost their marketing and attract more investors in their token. They lend small allocation of tokens to be given to those users who advertise their coin in the users social media and in return, they get airdrop tokens. And some ico also if their sale didnt make it to the hardcap, they give the remaining of their tokens to the investors as a form of airdrop.

It's very much now that every project's airdrop program may have done that. Probably a project that does airdrop for several reasons. Maybe they want to promote their project by handing out free tokens (airdrop). But usually the tokens obtained from airdrop are not much. Therefore airdrop is just entertainment alone.

Airdrop is quite a good way to create an awarness about an ICO in order to gain investors attention, but this days, you have several cheat airdrop coming up, without value because of the project and the number distributed to each person, I tend to see it as a form of scam

Actually some project arrange airdrop before their ICO because of increase their social media subscribiers.Some scamer also follow this way.But some good projects also arrange airdrop for storng community and increase holder.

99% of programs on the market are Scam . And so the airdrops allow you to draw attention to your product , because there are a lot of projects on the market and it is necessary to attract investors and airdrops is a very good solution.
