Many, many cash grabs I think. Lots will be legitimate, but sadly I feel a lot of them aren't going to be very successful in the end. It's a shame, but you can immediately see the cash grabs, teams keeping 40% of supply, almost no need for an actual token/coin in the first place etc. Makes the whole place look dodge

Airdrops are meant to gain traders of their altcoins, to encourage someone to register to their website, free advertisement to their platform by means of retweeting or sharing on social medias, to gain thousands of supporters or to enlarge their social community on slack, discord or telegram, etc. Actually, that airdrop is an eye catcher to cryptocurrency's freelancers which as known as bounty hunters.

The crypto will be the ICO which will be airdrops in the currency world. These are the basis of this money market. Thanks to U AirDrop and ICO, this market exists.
I think airdrop is essentially about developing social branches so that people have confidence in the project by looking at the number of participants. How to say airdrop gives life to the project.

I think free airdrop bring a free audience and definitely free publicity of project and if people inspired with the project they automatically invest founder don't need to advertise with google or youtube.

On everything concerns crypto, is a function of program from time to time to meet up the target at a given point in time. Therefore airdrop is also program that has a maximum number limit to participate, and also has an ending date.

I want to ask something, why every day even every time a lot of airdrop programs that appear? I do not know where they came from and how they came, suddenly appeared. thanks
indeed today many airdrops are emerging and not clear from where the source. then we are required to select it first by analyzing it by reading around the airdrop. because some also use phishing sites. it is very dangerous

A lot of those airdrops are not good projects, some persons are trying to use such airdrops to get some critical number of followers on social media and then see if they can launch some ICO to raise cash. Some do not have the intention of developing whatever idea they put in the white paper. And of course, there are some good projects with reasonable airdrops too.So have your eyes peeled to know the right ones.

Simply to get maximum exposure of their project in this competitive world, not just airdrops there were hundreds of bounty threads were created everyday. But most of the airdrops and bounties are not worth to do because we will end of wasting our valuable time on promoting a scammy or useless project so before joining bounties make sure that project is worth to do or not.

Yes, correct. Airdrop is essential for a project to distribute their tokens to people to gain popularity and price volume. Its necessary since they cant just rely on selling their tokens to everyone who doesn’t even recognize their project the first with.

Hahah, I agree with all of you. it seems that airdrop is very beneficial for the progress of a project. for success, a small fee for advertising, attracting people with airdrop is the best path. But very unfortunate if most airdrop is scam & just want to get fast money only.  Cry

Since most accounts receive only a few dollars, it's not a big deal because you've lost almost that amount of money to move on to the trading floor, but this is the marketing approach that every project wants. People know more about them

I think most of them are companies or entrepreneurs who want to develop their company better. by introducing them to the public through an airdrop program. so that way the company will be more easily known and growing. maybe that's my opinion.

This is just a marketing tool. They will only pay a small amount for airdrops and get a lot of attention. And with some airdrops, they simply don’t plan to pay! Angry

too many scams and i don't even know why people still trying to win something from airdrops . this is almost impossible i think .

There are still good projects, but it is very difficult to find them, probably 90% are scammers, people fill all airdrops in the hope of a big profit.

When a virtual currency project releases its own currency and sells it to the public to fund the development of the project. Some ICOs will choose to airdrop a percentage from total tokens (usually 5-10%) out of the community to spread the name and attract more investors.

an airdrop program emerges as a form of coin campaign in social media, as a tool of introducing a coin to the public (investor) that the coin exists in sales and moves in transactions, while the airdrop comes from the company, usually airdrop is done before ICO or Pre-sale.

I think giving airdrop to investors, holders, or participants is one of the best way to invite investors, create stronger community and gain trust of project supporters. I guess, that is one of the reasons why some ICOs or projects are giving away free coins during their ICO, to get more investors.
