I think its the other way around, in my country, the government is obviously manipulating the media about bitcoin and the crypto world, they are airing events where people are scammed using bitcoin, but they are not really telling the real deal about cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin user fear of government is a normal thing we can understand. There are still many countries do not accept Bitcoin and they can lose their money easily if the Government ban their transactions.

Why many bitcoin users have fear to the government? It is because the government has a power to ban and regulate or prohibit the used of bitcoin on their restriction or state. Like happen in China, the government decides to ban the used of bitcoin in their country. That's why many bitcoin users have a worried about the government response regarding the acceptance of bitcoin in their state. Once the government decides to ban or prohibit the used of bitcoin in their custody, all bitcoin user in this state cannot use bitcoin in ant transaction or convert it to fiat. Also the decision of the government in banning of bitcoin in their state have a big impact on the price movements in the market cap.

I prefer to change the term fear with vigilance or worse is the hatred of the government. what governments do in many countries early in 2018 is enough to prove that the intervention they do in the crypto industry makes the market fall apart. I hate it when they try to ban crypto, regulate crypto too tightly, limiting crypto space. which basically I believe that they only want a little piece of money from this industry. they should do as a government is to find solutions and innovation to the existing problems. not taking short-term decisions.

Great, well I don't think we need to worry about what we are doing if our government supports crypto currency. As we know crypto currency are very demand here in cyberworld in which some countries didn't legalized crypto currency. In some point here in my country legalized bitcoin in fact some of our mode of payments accepts bitcoin. I believe soon there will be more and more establishments accepting bitcoin as a mode of payments as it will depends on each country's government supporting bitcoin.

I can't escape to notice that many users here on forum have terrible rebbelious fear of governments. Like government is some evil devil that will destroy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But is this realy so, do such claims have any reasonable ground at all?

To my opinion the cause for something like that is again ignorance. I think that regulation that is mentioned in many countries is often mixed with centralization which is something that is not natural to Bitcoin because it's functioning totaly different than fiat currencies. Also some warnings to people that Bitcoin is volatile and risky investment that come from national banks are often interpretated as hostile behaviour towards Bitcoin and attempts to make people not to use it.

Is there any hope that Bitcoin users and governments will find the common language and help Bitcoin together to be more accepted in economy, especialy by businesses and to become more "legal" everywhere?

exactly. Some users are from the countries where you need to fear the governments for obvious reasons and the tendency is to ban everything that makes sense for the economy.

Governments just want get some taxes from bitcoin if they knew people's holding bitcoin in their wallet then they hold taxes on BTC. So, that's why many Bitcoin users have fear of governments.

The market users are afraid of the government taking over the control of crypto currencies because it may change the situation with the negative or very strict regulations like the complete ban of the bitcoin or something like this.

I think it's fair. China was a big source of crypto users. But suddenly China banned Bitcoins in there. Facebook is the biggest market place now. Facebook already blocked crypto currency with ICO issue. Although some countries has shown appreciation but still I think it's fair to have some fear of government. Cause a whole bunch of people always try to stay out of illegal things.

There are two reasons why the government is afraid. The first reason is not honestly earned, the second reason do not want to pay taxes

I think we don’t want to fear for government or any other people if you are bitcoin user because it is also one of the ways of money earning methods so it is not an illegal ways to earn money so don’t fear for any others .
firstly, the government always tries to control the incomes of its citizens, and secondly, the government always tries to tax the money that people earn. and taxes can be quite large and therefore users do not like it.

The governments are against bitcoin. I wrote this under many headlines.
When you do a crypto money transfer, you do not know who the money goes out to and who you go to. He does not go to any name or id. A 24-digit adrese goes. That's why governments are against it.
If governments can close the stock market, thousands of investors will suffer. That's why investors are afraid.

Probably because bitcoin users are afraid that bitcoin will be banned in their country that uses bitcoin. Because if it is banned it will be a bit difficult to access bitcoin in the country.

Earlier it was feared that governments would ban bitcoin. But later,it was thought that governments would only regulate bitcoin and so no need to fear about banning. But now, many countries have decided to launch their own digital currencies and in such a case,we could not expect them to promote and allow crypto coins as well.
I agree! Given the fact that banks have central command
and is strongly regulated by the government, whereas Bitcoin acts as no single network operating it. The fear for governments is due to the possibilities of banning Bitcoin and restricting its functions. The legality of Bitcoin takes effect depending on the regulation of each country, but not all governments in every country are limiting its operation, in fact there is an increase acceptance of Bitcoin in more countries.

Now many users have seen that the crypto currency provides an opportunity to bypass the restrictions that were previously established by the state authorities when using ordinary cash and non-cash money. Therefore, people are afraid that states and governments will again take such an opportunity from them. Moreover, we see that the states do not react so well to the crypto currency when it is legalized, than we would like. Therefore, many perceive the government if not as enemies, then as ill-wishers for the crypto currency.
In the future, governments and citizens must find a common approach to the use of crypto currency, otherwise there can be no.
