People have become very weird.They find problems where there is no problem.When they are not lucky in love, they immediately think about suicide.People have to take care of themselves.People think they have big problems, which can not be solved.People have a lot of mistakes in it.No problem is worth our life, we need to understand this.
also the rate of country poverty might also determine the rate of suicide in any country.
Stats tell a different story. The suicide rates are quite low in the poorest nations, such as Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Bangladesh.etc. On the other hand, they are quite high in rich nations such as Japan, United States and South Korea. So poverty may not be a major factor here.
Depressions and low self-esteems are one of the reasons why there are a lot of suicide cases.

I believe its because of strict laws that cause suicide.
The rate of suicide is increasing mostly because of frustration that tied around some individual neck.also the rate of country poverty might also determine the rate of suicide in any country.
Suicide cases are increasing because now a days, some people can't overcome the challenges they are facing. They tend to be silent than open up to their parents or close friends because they felt that no one will listen to them and that is depression. Over thinking may cause depression that can cause of suicide. To avoid of this kind of problem just always be connected to your loveones to open up your all troubles in life.
more isolation, less work satisfaction, less exercise, non realization of instant gratification, communication barriers are few of the causes which may be reason for increasing no. of suicide. also in the contemporary culture people are portrayed so sensitive & triggered that normal people have turned into whining piece of organism. nobody wants to get hurt and deal with it. pussification of entire generation has also a lot to do with increasing no. of suicide. Some suicides are actually worthy of condolence and empathy but some are for stupid reason.

In the last 20-30 years, the upbringing of children has turned into market-imposed advice. Children grow up, and do not have the strength to be self-sufficient personal decision-makers. They are used to the fact that parents help them in everything, and do not let them go on their own.If a person is not psychologically prepared for the progressive society of our time - he starts to get stuck in himself, instead of having to change himself and make his own decision.

I think it is the society itself. We cannot removed the fact that as the society grows bigger, it gives different impacts nowadays. It creates and punish us at the same time. People tend to understand gadgets more than people's feelings. We tend to please the internet more than God. Some forget how to be live simply. Some forget how to LOVE truly. Then, on the other side of it all- a lot of people are suffering because they cannot even see beauty. They got tired, lonely, and depressed, pushing them to the peak of their last breath. So, we can say that one of the main factors why suicide cases are increasing is due to the society we are living now. I still pray for more courageous people. I hope they overcome the things that they are experiencing right now.
Suicide cases are increasing because of too much depression, a person that cannot control the emotion that hurts him/her. Some of example of depression is the victim of bullying and failure of relationship that causes to think a peson to suicide.we can avoid that if we comfort a person that have a sign of depress. Always remember that our life is very precious to us
Self esteem suffering from depression fear about facing reality. Some people try to fight reality by thier expectations in life and thats not how it works base on thier own expectations. Some people being rejected by there looks and thier blame them self and Some people Are lack of ability to handle failures.
The ability to handle failures is something that comes with experience. But if the parents raise their children in such a way that they never face failure, then in the future they may not be having the ability to cope with them. I have noticed this a few times in my society.
because life is harsh and we rely on so much everyday just to survive. its easy to fall out of the rat race, suddenly living life without purpose, with no money means no food, no shelter, no medicine, when life literally becomes too painful to live the alternative starts to sound appealing.
I agree with @isaac, I remember reading about very high youth suicide rates in Japan due to the strict high expectations placed on you combined with a lot of isolation (70 deaths/day/avg). A lot of seniors will take their own life if they feel they have become a burden to their family or are in financial distress.
We are so competitive and it is never good enough.
Also, The 'iGen' generation is terrifying. They don't seem to have any grasp on reality and are seriously lacking in 'real-life' social skills. No interest in getting a job or career, just posting shit on YT / Facebook.
Who knows how well they manage in the coming years.

I think there are so many reasons why many people are committing suicides and the reason why suicide cases are increasing. Some are because of depression, problems they can't take, or some are because of illegal drugs which affects people's thinking and decision making. Also too much exposure to electronic gadgets and social media isolate someone from being able to communicate with our other people which is really important nowadays for someone to express his/her true feelings and problems. But I think the main reason why some people commit suicide is because they felt lack of love. Love that may stop them from doing such things. If they only felt love and importance, they would not ever feel they are alone and that they are useless and unworthy people.

No one is looking at the angle of alcohol and cigarette consumption in the cause of depression. Because depression is a state of mind that reflects with your overall health and stress levels/peace of mind. Sometimes poverty and not enough counseling leads to suicide.
One of the main reason why suicide nowadays is increasing because of self-pity that leads to depression, discontentment and insecurities of people. Also, not family oriented person. Being a family oriented would really help one another especially to adults. There are lots of young adults who encountered "bullying" to their schools or universities that gives pain not just physically but emotionally as well. Your family is the only weapon that someone could have in times of trouble, they will going to protect and accept you no matter what happens. They are the people who are always there for you to take care, to understand and love you always.

Suicide rates will continue to rise. It is a sad reality. I'm writing in context of youths (so have excluded the farmers though suicide rates among farmers also will continue to rise as we don't have any remedy for agricultural distress, the only way out is by shifting them to other industry).
The reasons for increase in cases of suicides among youths are:
# Heartbreak is a new phenomenon in India.
# Phenomenon of Nuclear Family.
# Lack of quality time.
# Pressure to perform.
# Drug abuse & alcoholism.
# Emptiness.
The case of suicide increases due to many factors, including poverty, depression, etc. For those who can not solve personal problems and less devoted to gods, tend to take shortcuts by suicide, so do not know to which to ask for help, if it gets into trouble so frustration and suicide.
I believe that poverty contributes the least to depression and suicide. Among the nations with the highest depression and suicide rates is Sweden. I lived there and people get antidepressives described from any general doctor. At the same time the country is among the most wealthy, even in Europe. I also visited very poor countries like the Westcoast in Africa where people have almost nothing. At the same time everyone seems a lot more content with life. I talked with some of the locals about depression and suicide as I visited after I had been in Sweden. People could not even understand how someone can be so unhappy to commit suicide and firmly stated it would happen in their country. I did not check the statistics of suicide in Westafrica, but I am certain that poverty is rarely the reason.
