There still no altcoins season yet. I think you guys should stop dreaming about altcoin season, keep dreaming and your investment will become zero soon. We've been few months from this thread and there no altcoin season, only new lower price season. Dont hope about altcoin season, i bet even that season happen, holding old altcoin will never make you guys be rich.
For me personally, I will not sell my coins when the price is in the lower position because for me, I invest in a coin to make a profit and if I sell it when the price of the coin is below the same I do not get anything from what I do or you could say I just wasted my time and money just to get a loss. When in that position maybe I would prefer to hold it but in reality when I see the price of my coins fall and I expect to fall again, there I will take the decision to cut losses.
I am not doing it. I will wait to the price to rise back even just a little. Selling your tokens at the very bottom is like you just throw you money off and don't want something in return. Try atleast make a little profits before it.

Actually it's depends on the situation and those coins market value even when we got good profits then right time to sell. Basically if a project developing has great potential then we can take long time investment so it totally depends on your mind, sell perfect time depend your profit situation.

holders get rid of much cheaper altcoins because all hopes for recovery were exhausted this year, if earlier the growth of bitcoin was a signal for the growth of altcoins, today the drop in bitcoin provokes the sale of other coins.
This year is not good for altcoins even btc show some growth most alts didnt follow. Selling at lower price cant gain you anything thus it would be better to wait until alts bull run.
If you believe in altcoins you should not dump your coins even it seems there's no hope for the price to recover.

It depends upon the current financial situation of the holder. Currently all altcoins are trading at lower price and its not worth to sell anything right now but sometimes holders is forced to sell his assets to meet out his sudden expenses. Altcoins earned from bounty are easy to sell as no emotions attached to it but if someone has purchased anything at higher price then its difficult to sell the same at low price. Its only the need of money which forces anyone to sell his assets at low price.
It's an obvious fact that the market hasn't been on her best lately, both for Bitcoin and altcoin. Several persons are looking at selling their tokens with the intention of buying when the value is lower. 5 months have passed after the creation of this thread but until now i cant see the altcoin season that the op talkin about . the alt season that his saying could be stuck or something blocked its way . i have heard of that hst token that you are talkin about and the token recieve some good feedback but i dont know if what is the update on that token . to the question if why would sell an alt at the bottom ? well because i think the price will dump more . sell and get profit and then buy again .
