it looks like you are very excited about altcoin investment, yes I also have something in common like you that altcoin won't end in a dead end, they still have the chance to raise prices again, especially the top altcoin on the market, we hope the team & developers can develop their tokens correctly so altcoin bag holders are not disappointed with their project. I will only give a little extra that selling altcoin at a cheap price or replacing it with a better one, doesn't mean that it doesn't make sense, but it is a good way to avoid losses in altcoin junk.
Well yeah i would still sell it just to recover some of my funds. Although in practicality, no trader will sold their assets to the point of its price reaches rock bottom and even myself will sell the coin immediately once the price rises up to 20 percent of its original price and if the coin price crashes i will sell it immediately just to recover what is left to the original price and the lost up 10 percent.
not all altcoins will enter the season, because most of them are rubbish so it's better to sell them even though the price is already very low or you have lost above 50% of the value of your coins, than it's not worth at all.
unless you hold altcoin which is already good and is down due to sluggish market conditions, you can still maintain it even though its value is very bad now.

i don't sell altcoins. neither now nor when the next ATH is reached.

I also expect that. but I may have sold some altcoin at a pretty low price. besides being caused by panic, I think the developer did not make any progress at all. however, I still hold some altcoin assets which I think can have quite a big development. besides that, I also have the same hope as you, that I also want to feel the use of the tokens that I hold. i hope to find at least utility token sometime an area of application for it.

Why not? if I think the coins I have are difficult to develop, it's better to sell immediately while they still have prices, especially with the tokens of campaign results I won't hold them for a long time, given the market situation that is still poorly selling right away is a good choice for me.

In addition, the average altcoin sales, even though the price has dropped very drastically, is done by bounty hunters. because to worry that indeed the price will go down later. and in my opinion this is very risky to hold if the price drops is already very large, reaching more than 50%. I guess people already know the reason why they sell even though the price is very low

Holding altcoins further, especially when its value and bonus acquired at ICO has already covered the money you invested in it is nothing but financial suicide. If you don't sell before bounty distribution for such project is done, you will have yourself to blame.

It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle. Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie. But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value. Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

Selling altcoin when the market is at the very bottom is not the right decision. But for myself it depends on the situation that is happening to me, if at that time I really need extra money for something or in an emergency, of course I will choose to sell it even though all I get is a loss, for me it not a problem because it has become a decision that I choose.ATTENTION: We are about to enter altcoin season right at the very bottom, there will be some explosive move coming....Please hold firm.

And why do you want to hold onto coins that do not have any future in relation to its market price? It is better to sell rather than holding onto them with a false hope that it might be worh something in the future to come. The future of most altcoins with no specific impact and influence on the crypto ecosystem are not very good. It is better to sell now than never..

You are right, it all depends on the person and on the situation in which he finds himself. Someone sells their altcoins because he has a plan, and someone urgently needs money. Personally, I try not to sell coins at once, but often the price does not recover and I regret it.

Seeing our coins slowly losing their value makes us sad but is it permanent? No its just temporary and thats what I always keep in mind. There's a long way to go for blockchain and crypto and there's more to look forward, dont think of the current situation and stay positive because those who can hold firmly with their coins are likely to have big gains when alts season occur. It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.
It might not sound logical sense to you but to someone, it is safer to sell now than wait and it might even drop further below. There is always reasons behind why people will decide to sell their altcoins when its price is at the button. It is better to sell at the button than holding till they become shitcoins...

No way, I have commitment for keep holding some altcoin I think have profitable at the future although at the very bottom price, is not good ideas when you are investing with good altcoin but price down to sell, wait for several time because price your altcoin will back to higher and get much profit with your patience holding.
Not every coin recovers when the altcoin season comes. Some investors sell their coins in a cheaper price to cut their losses because they think that a project has no long term potential. I have been to a lot of project where the value of the coin sinks down the drain no matter how hard the developers try to develop their project and of course there are some delays on the way. I guess in some point of time investors get tired of waiting. I believe only coins with established names and workig product would benefit most on the altcoin season.
