I will sell my coins if it reaches to $800 that is the goal I have set in my mind, and if it reaches there then I won't hesitate in selling my bitcoins as I can buy it again in future when price drops.

why would people think that all the fiat currencies will be valueless, do you think that all the economist in the world are a bunch of jokers. i dont think that the prices will go like the one you mentioned. reaching 1000$ is a hard task at the moment. let it rise to believe it .

Yes that makes no sense. We need fiat since it provides us with emergency money in case a big crisis will happen.
I will always use fiat next to any other form of payment.

Exactly fiat is taking care of our spending on daily basis, we need fiat for sure, and when the price of bitcoin is higher then you should sell it rather then waiting too long.

That is a foolish strategy to follow as only holding will not serve the purpose as if the value falls down extremely then only holding will not be profitable, we should sell when the price is higher.

If you are never gonna sell your coins then what's the purpose of earning it? What would you do if you hold for a longer time and price falls back to $100? Anything is possible.

I doubt that bitcoin will fall to a 100$,as time goes by look at how many has been using bitcoin it only means that bitcoin is getting known and its price wont be the same as it was before on its early stage.

I think the rate of bitcoin is up and down, then it will not matter if we sell our bitcoin when the price is high, then we can buy it again when the price lower.
If i the price high, i think i will sell my bitcoin

Circulate your coins by selling it to see better and higher price in future, only holding will bring the price of bitcoin fall in future.

I don't think that bitcoin's price will fall if we are holding it..

We should always have a goal in why we are holding our bitcoin, and even in trading, we should have a goal on when to sell and buy it.. But if we are into long term, we should keep our coins now and wait..

Im all for holding my coins and using to buy stuff with I don't have a problem with that. but until there is mass adoption of bitcoin and I can go to my local gas station and fill up or pay my mortgage with it I will sell my bitcoin for USD because having bitcoins sitting in a wallet aint going to do me no good when the bank shows up and takes my house for having not paid them in USD.

You should not sell them because the bitcoin will go to high amount of the end of this year, due to the halving.
If everything goes well the bitcoin will go to a much higher amount and everyone can make profit.

the price can increase according to supply and demand theory. If the daily volume decreases and price increases , at a point BTC will self terminate itself. Why?If the money circulation is zero then BTC is dead.
How about when halving  , there is a hard dump even we all know bitcoin supply would decreased during halving that could lead to the bitcoin price go up high.
Will bitcoin price remain  go up as per halving? Or it's just remain in current rate  $400 ? Noone knows so I prefer balancing between spend bitcoin and hold bitcoin.
There must be of course a time to sell your coins. Otherwise you cant make profit and that will be bad. I hope that more people will have some profit later.
And that Bitcoin also will be more acceptable. That will be so good for the future and also for Bitcoin.
If lets say 1 person is in profit, the other person must be in loss.
The profit minus the loss is zero. So if u want people to profit, other people also loose money.

So winning always goes with losing, I hope u understand what I am saying.

Yeah we are expecting higher price at the time of halving but it would be very disappointing to see if there is no price rise as nothing is guaranteed.

Don't worry mate we will see price in next couple of months as price is rising slowly at a moment and we can expect much better price on halving so its better to wait and not to sell at a moment.

It is not the best idea to sell btc ever. Reasons are the consistency what we are seeing now. the price is increasing slowly. it is very unlikely to say it will go down. also when the more user starts using it as we are seeing on these days we can say the price will go high and we can make more money.....

Bitcoin will grow high as well it has to be considered as a saving than a earning for daily life. So the saving grows very high when years pass. Thats the reason never to sell but to save as much possible.

All I know is that I know nothing.
i look at bitcoin as a currency and i would love it if the day comes that bitcoin is used as a currency just like fiat.

but also until that time comes, i consider bitcoin as more of an investment rather than a currency so i am like 80% invested and will sell and hold 20% of it until bitcoin is mass adopted and i keep 100% of my bitcoins for using to buy goods.
