90% is too large a number, but I think that about 50% will definitely be replaced by new ones. Non-working coins will leave, new developers will come with new ideas and coins

The bubble popped long time ago imo but I believe 90% of coins/tokens will slowly fade and die.

No one knows the future of this market, but I think you should invest in coin in the top 10 it will be safer than new coin and small cap.

Is it true that 90 percent of the altcoin will die after the bitcoin bubble burst? If so how can i choose to invest in coins now?

First of all you need to determine your intention i.e. what do you want? I mean do you want to preserve your savings or you want to increase your capital or, maybe, you just want to have a talk and predict the next crash on the crypto market? Anyway if you just want to preserve your money and to fight the inflation there are the perfect instruments like the government bonds which are almost riskless. To obtain a more sufficient profit you must be ready to take a risk by buying more risky assets like the cryptocurrencies. I would recommend you to pay attention on the major altcoins and Bitcoin because such a type of investing is the most reliable. Among the major altcoins I would suggest Ethereum because from my point of view Ethereum is hard oversold and has a huge potential for the future growth.

altcoin still running, sometimes it's sideaway but their projects still running.
we can see roadmap about their plan and time line projects.
so i believe altcoin is never die. bearish or bullish is a part from market condition.

I do not believe that 90% of coins will die. coins that will die are coins that are not able to survive and not sell in the market. but there are also many coins that live because they are able to compete with other coins.

While you can't actually put a percentage on it, it is safe to say most of them will falter and fail. You have to be so careful in the projects you support these days

90% seems to be too big. I think 50% of altcoin will die in this market downturn. The remaining altcoin will soon recover in the coming time. 2018 is not a good year for Crypto, but 2019 could be a new development phase.

This is not right, some of the Altcoins does not depend on the price of Bitcoin and can increase their price all by themselves and can stand independently just check the markets now even though the price of bitcoin and Ethereum is down you can see some Altcoins that has a high change in their price, but i guess some of Altcoins will die but not 90% of it just like 11% because some are Utility tokens and other crypto assets does not depend on Bitcoin.

I don't think that 90% of the altcoin will die and I am sure that the most of altcoin will still survive, we know this because we are at the very low price in this year. Even if bitcoin increases, the altcoin will survive and will pass, and I think the rate will increase too and you don't have to worry about this. As long as you can choose the top 100 in the coinmarketcap, I think you can make a profit by investing in many coins. Of course, you need to take a look and make research on each coin so you will find the coin.

Do you count also coins which are not listed on Coinmarketcap? If yes, then your number is probably right.
And I think that also this statistic would be same if you count how many real companies are created and how many of them fail to beat the competitiors.  Cry

I do not think that just so many coins will disappear from the market. Nevertheless, I'm sure that about a third will disappear due to market instability.

The fact that most and the majority of altcoins die is very large. It can be seen from the data that currently only a few percent of altcoins still exist. In calculations, Altcoin suffered death because it was not supported by a strong team of developers and they were less able to implement the system they had. This has indeed caused concern in the world of digital currency because as we know that the movement of altcoin will greatly affect the market globally.

Yes, it`s true. A lot of coins are very bad and will die soon. What about really promising - they will develop and become better. For choosing a correct coin to invest - you need to make your own research.

It is better to choose coins that use their own blockchain. With a high probability they will not disappear anywhere.

I do think so. more than 90% for sure. they will die slowly, in several years.

And what really matters will appear in next several years.

Formed in the present time, crypto space greatly affects humanity. And guessing who among the alcoins will get in 90% of the "death" or who will get into 10% of "life" is a difficult occupation. The investor's opinion (my opinion) is to invest in his own opinion about the altcoyin. Success is somewhere near, invest, friends.

How can you measure that project is dead? Without updates or news? Or there is no development progress? Or the coin is not traded on exchanges?
It is hard to say that project is dead, a lot of them are just silent before big news, product, platform and so on!

You're right as soon as cheap price of shitcoins i think in the future this coins will grow up slowly and will recover their price  back to normal i guess.
