There are lots of fluctuations in the prices of cryptocurrency, which is why it is said to be volatile. Therefore, if the it dumps or all coins dump, most especially the genuine ones, they will still find their ways up. You can always trust that a good investment, if done for long term, will still bring you its profit.

I can say with great confidence that a very large percentage of coins will die. Of course, less than 90%, I think about 60% will die for sure. Less popular exchanges will offer to trade these coins, but the main backbone of the coins will be on the old and proven exchanges. Recently, I have paid attention to the emergence of new exchanges, which definitely dilute this market. In addition to the trash coins, there will now be a trash exchange.

Why less than 90%? You know there are about 400 altcoins right? Pretty sure that only around 10-20 of them have great potential, the rest of them are just diluting the market cap. I think any coin that has had under $1000 trade volume for the past 3 months should be considered dead, so you can say that about 300 coins are still active under those criteria, we need to see this number under 50 asap.

Ya it can happen if major coins are not performing well, Only the coins who has a good fundamental and a good supporting team. The main reason behind this will be that most of the country have started to make regulations for the cryptocurrency so that they can implement cryptocurrency in their country and in this process all scam ICO will close down only the worthy will stand in the market.

Don't know 90% but surely major coins will vanish soon. Most of from the new coins. Currently in the market over 2k+ coins but most of just useless. Not even good trade volume every day.

Is it true that 90 percent of the altcoin will die after the bitcoin bubble burst? If so how can i choose to invest in coins now?

I don't know true this or no and no one know, but this is logical.
For investment will learn about projects in which you want to invest

It is not dead yet, as it is still traded on exchanges, but theoretically most ICO projects are unsuccessful, and only a few can thrive.

How did you know that there is a bitcoin bubble burst by the way? They kept on saying that bitcoin is a bubble and it will burst soon but somehow it does not happen, bitcoin is doing very well though there are times that it dip but somehow it's a normal thing.

If so how can i choose to invest in coins now?
Research on your on this one, it's your money and don't trust it to anyone else. Remember that investing is really a risky thing here in crypto world.

I think the figure could be right, because from every 10 businesses 9 would fail and this make 90% failure, it could even be higher in this space because some projects are obvious scam and this could skew to failure side.

That's a phrase to indicate that a LOT of coins are actually with no purpose and won't survive in the long run. Maybe is not 90% of the industry, but it's surely a huge share of the total.

Why then the majority of coins which were already dead in 2014 pumped like crazy in 2018? What are the chances that the history is going to repeat itself? I am not talking about confirmed scams like Bitconnect, I am talking about forgotten shitcoins without any development. They have skyrocketed in value during the last 2 years.

Though it might be true that not all tokens would survive this downturn in the market but not 90% of the tokens would die.

Due to the explosion in the popularity of cryptocurrencies, every developer and their brothers, it seems, are having a go at a coin project.

Discord, Telegram, and Bitcointalk are loaded with projects like this.  The best way to get a feel for this is to lurk around several new coin's discords and see how the developer reacts to questions, how the community reacts to different things, and the general progress of the project itself.  It is not very common to join a new coin and have good feelings about it all the way through to maturity.  There are road bumps and challenges in every single project out there.

Of course there are bigger fish to slay that you won't find on Discord, but it all boils down to gut feelings, experience, and what you can see happening.  Some projects seem destined to succeed.  They have great crews, professional developers, graphic artists, etc.  But success of those isn't even guaranteed.

The point I'm trying to make is projects fail for so many more reasons than people are aware of, that, in a way, you have to commit time and soak everything in before you can make decisions so it always involves a small commitment of time and sacrifice, plus experience a little luck.

Add in all the scam projects, the developers who are just cutting their teeth learning, and even experienced devs who end up hitting unforeseen roadblocks, and you have what still amounts to the wild, wild west of the crytpo-space in the world today.

In the end, do not be surprised if only 10% of the projects you get involved actually make it to the big time.  It's a long, grinding road for projects, but there is no shortage of developers willing to step up to the plate.

Unfortunately, with BITCOIN, he suffers the coins altcoin. The market is in a drastic devaluation, but this will not endlessly. The crypto market will grow again. I think it is still a good time to invest. If we think the crypto market is becoming more and more popular with people around the world and bitcoin is beginning to govern the banking system in some countries, we can only be optimistic. If it was a news, then you read a fake news.

If it's really Bitcoin Bubble Burst and will explode then surely end of the crypto. But really I don't think it's bubble like that. If you think this will be happen then good to stay away from the market. If willing to invest then BTC, ETH, Monero, EOS, XLM and XRP are best choices in my opinion.  Cheesy

That would be quite harsh if 90% of coins will die. If we take a scenario in which some new technology will replace the blockchain technology in the future. Then there might be chances that most of the people will lose interest in that particular coin. But for now many coins have good community support and I can't see these coins disappearing in next 5-10 years.

Where did you get and read the news ?? I think that's not entirely true. You should need to do research with the aim that you get a source of information or at least predictions about Altcoin that you specify in your own mind. Do and choose the best according to your own.

When bitcoins price dump then its quite normal for altcoins to go in the same path where most of them dump out too together with bitcoin but it doesn't signify that it would really die. There might be lots of shit tokens in the market which doesn't have value but if you do try to look at on CMC you will able to find lots of them do have buyers and sellers or simply means still active and been supported by the community.
