Or will they remain stable at least?

I think I like ADA anything better than what Eth can bring out. However I hold both. I started out with more eth but have just been stacking ADA because I like staking it for passive income.

You guys have any thoughts on this?

I had no doubt about ADA it was good for me to trade this whether day trading or long term and aside from that
it has a real potential to increase its price value in the future. I agreed also that it can give a passive income as well.
So, I can't say that it will dump deeply in the market, it may so but not so dip in my own opinion.

Money is casting a vote for ADA. Last days $12.6 million were outflow from ethereum while Cardano has seen $10 mln inflow. And this trend, in my very humble opinion, will only go on increasing for two coming years. Ethereum 2.0 will neither stop nor  influence that.

ETH will always be domain for DeFi,

IOHK doesn't agree with that. Their  token migration bridge is about to drill DeFi. What would happen next is not hard to imagine. I think in  couple of years everyone speaking of DeFi will mean dApps on Cardano. Cardano is better equipped for  DeFi  then ETH.  Read why.

of course it will remain stable, because ETH 2.0 only affects for ETH system and does not affect for ADA or other competitors, so if indeed ADA or other competitors can match ETH, then of course ADA or other competitors will be able to remain stable, especially if ADA or other competitors can making the project better than ETH, then of course it's possible for ADA or other competitors will be more popular than ETH in the future.

You're comparing apples and oranges.
While yes, they are both crypto, and share some similarities, ETH will always be domain for DeFi, while something else will thrive on ADA.
And in the end, ramp solutions will join them together

ADA is a good project that is why it is considered as one of the best competitors of ETH. If ETH 2.0 gets released ADA will remain stable since it will only lessen ERC-20 transactions. ADA same as ETH is already established and ETH 2.0 can help ETH increase its price. We will see all the inpact of it once 2.0 meets people's expectations.
ADA honestly have very weak foundation, it's just temporarily hyped up and there's nothing special about it really while most of people who got tired of erc20 migrated to BSC instead not ADA and when ETH fee resolved it's more likely to get dumped.
In this case I think BNB have stronger foundation than ADA when it comes to ETH 2.0 release even polka is a lot more better than cardano if im being frank.

When will ETH2.0 go live is something that is highly anticipated. A lot of trades are stalled and many projects are awaiting salvation and the ones that can't wait have migrated to BSC. The project I follow and owned some reasonable amount vowed never to migrate to BSC. Having competition is good for the market, so few other ETH competitors will stay alive.

The new ones like BSC and Polka might get some outflows back to ETH though.

Depends from how developers will engaged with those alternative chain, the fact that ETH update might resolve the problem
with transaction fees,

Those developers who jumped out might think back and again use the  ERC chain, it will bring those old support plus those
new developers to use the system.

We will see what will happen after the update.

ETH will resolve it. It's just a matter of when, and I think people in general who have left ETH don't believe it's happening according to schedule (they're behaving like Bitcoin people who left the main network because they thought BTC was too slow).

Like you said though, we'll only really find out after the update.

eth has surpassed many of its competitors even as it stands. When we look at cryptocurrencies today, we see that most of them are still eth-based. This shows what a demand for eth. When Eth 2.0 comes out, I think that most of the investors who turn to different crypto currencies will return. Moreover, even those who use alternatives now have to use eth if they want to make money.

yes, but ADA is a kind of good and solid altcoins project with great features inside the project buddy
so, in my opinion, even ETH 2.0 comes out, the price of ADA and other eth competitors with good marketcap will remain stable

I don't think it's solid enough to remain stable if ETH 2.0 comes out seeing that both ADA and BNB trying to overtake each other, not to mention that huge portion of ETH projects moving over to BSC. If those projects that already migrated are to move back to ETH blockchain then big chance it's gonna shake BNB and ADA though will get less harmful impact from the release of ETH 2.0 still affected regardless. ADA's foundation in market is not that strong IMO.

at the moment, in Ethereum, you need to solve the problem with such a network load in order to lower the commission and then everything will be fine!

Be patient because the implementation of solution on the fully decentralized network is not easy and it may take a year to be done.
BTW with the new implementation and the fees can be limited.
Basically, this is the problem that was preventing ethereum to get massive adoption. This time ether is growing up again.
EIP 1559 has become the solution but it's not yet approved by the miners. There must be an alternative way. As users and we can only see the progress

everything will remain stable, because I think ETH 2.0 will only affect the price of Ethereum, because if the gas fees from Ethereum become cheap and the transaction is faster, then I believe the price of Ethereum will increase very high, but the price of ADA and other competitors will remain the same, it's just that maybe people will start to investing in Ethereum again and make the price of ADA or other competitors difficult to increase very high again.

ADA already provides many advantages in this bullrun period for those who keep it, especially when one saves ADA from the cheap price.
Many smart contract platforms compete with Ethereum and so far have worked well. For example BSC. But I hope they can compete healthily and still have a high volume in the exchange, because they are a very potential platform and have a serious goal and want to solve problems that will be the best solution for the crypto industry.

Although Ethereum have higher feea transaction I think many project od ICO and IEO still believe with ethereum platform creating coin, maybe the power and support with ethereum platform make many ICO and IEO project more easy to get investor and coin become lovely and raise to higher price.

give me back my 2008
Ethereum is the most popular platform for creating smart contracts, and it will remain so, it seems to me.

I very often see such topics, you know what interests me more, where can I see tokens in the ADA blockchain. If there is an account where you can register and see all the functionality?

I don't think other smart contract platforms will get dumped, but I do expect whenever Eth2 launches (fully operational - phase 2 or whatever) that'll cement it as the dominant smart contract platform.

I think this transition period plays into the hands of other smart contract platforms. I'm sure ADA will benefit from Eth having super high fees this year and next year, and I don't think it'll dump when Eth2 is fully online, but I think these other platforms need to make the most of this transition period to get as good a place in the market as they possibly can before Eth2 is ready. Basically these other platforms have maybe two years now (possibly less) to capture a piece of the market from Eth. Those that don't manage to capture much market before Eth2 will wither. Those that do should be able to maintain some market share once Eth2 is out. I bought some ADA this year because the long transition to Eth2 I think will allow it to capture a small piece of the smart contract market. I believe Dot will as well. And other platforms might carve out smaller niches. But I expect Eth2 will allow Ethereum to continue to be the dominant platform.

Yeah I don't think there's anyone left on TRX or EOS or NEO or whatever who hasn't left yet to another platform, ETH 2.0 won't get new people going to it from the competitor platforms. But it will definitely increase demand (and so price) for ETH itself.

I have not seen a cryptocurrency generated by ADA smart contract and have not heard of smart contract implementation on ADA.
ADA is not able to compete in the long term with ETH as it is not capable of creating ecosystems like ETH.
It takes a long time to see the crypto markets work, so maybe let's keep both ETH and ADA.
ADA is relatively quiet and keeps their relationships and contracts confidential, that makes them unable to impress the crypto community and their value will suffer a lot, if they truly provide valuable information, everything could change and they could compete with ethereum. However, as far as I know they have no official announcement yet while ethereum is on the verge of their latest release, as soon as this release is successful, competitors such as ADA will run out of opportunities, appreciate focusing capital on ethereum rather than ditching a bit on ADA
