if you already have both then keep it. I hope your planning is for the long term. even if the price drops, believe ETH and ADA will benefit you in the long run.
ethereum 2.0 is still long enough to finish. and when all the updates are finished I'm sure ETH can fix all the problems we are currently experiencing. This is a market that is currently dominated by Binance because many Ethereum chain projects have moved to the Binance smart chain.

Yes ADA will be dumped and most probably some of the holdings they got, they may even dump their BTC for ETH. But it will also be bought up by the ones who wanted it cheap. ETH2 will come out months later so the price today of Ada and Polkadot is still cheaper.

Don't think ADA won't have plans too, they might just release something else while ETH2 is about to come. You'll be caught up between and choosing one will be like choosing the losing side.

Or will they remain stable at least?

I think I like ADA anything better than what Eth can bring out. However I hold both. I started out with more eth but have just been stacking ADA because I like staking it for passive income.

You guys have any thoughts on this?
A good investment is a win-win situation for you since, they are both competing, there is a good chance they will try to make improvements, to become better, and its good news for those who hold both coins, right now Cardano is making improvements while Eth is also trying to launch Eth 2.0, with the gas fee making it hard for ethereum community Cardano has the upper hand.

Maybe, the main reason why people switching over another blockchain was the gas price if it gets resolved people would just go back to using ERC20 etc because they are used to it.
But, I doubt those ETH competitiors gonna get dumped so hard, maybe those coins gonna just lose small fraction of price and trading volume but I think they gonna be fine, after all it's better to get all the defis and tokens distributed to many blockchains so it's not too centralized in ETH blockchain.

I think they won't be affected if ever Eth2.0 comes out, the hype has died down a bit because of so many delays that's why competitions are taking it to Ethereum right now, like ADA, BNB.

There are pros and cons for every coins out there, good that you hold both. ADA in the last 6 months is really gaining some ground and really making good profits for it's early investors. So continue to stack both of them because we are still in the bull run. Regardless of the competition, you will be the winner at the end of the day.

Good question.

I think it still base on how on the much anticipated ETH 2.0 will be roll out, will it solve the current issue of high gas fees? So for now it's hard to answer, but I'm guessing that there might be some ADA or other competitor investors to move and shift to Ethereum to make profits out of the hype around ETH 2.0. And then they can go back to ADA or stick with Ethereum. So 50/50 for now.

They will remain stable and no reason for the dump to happen with ada. the majority of ethereum users were migrating to the BSC and ada was only getting small users from there.

You should not be worried about this dude. There's no exact date about when eth 2.0 will be coming out.
ADA is a new platform and the new platform will always learn the problem that faced by the old platform.
