Some altcoins are already surviving while some are trying to survive and will survive. ETH, DASH etc are good examples of altcoin that have survived.

I think that not all altcoin can survive in the market. The competition in this market is so tight that only potential altcoins can survive in the face of fluctuations in the market. Of course altcoin that has different technological innovations from other coins that can survive in the market. Altcoin that has no advantage will be selected by the market and do not get a sense in the market. Even this unlikely altcoin can be worthless at all in the marketplace. Altcoin like this is also difficult in getting the trust of the community.

sure altcoins will survive. We just need to wait for altcoins turns to increase, if you are doing trading in 2017 this condition are pretty similar and i do think if bitcoin increasing, altcoin will also increasing. No need to be afraid just consider this as a chance and opportunity to buy more altcoins and its even good if you currently hold bitcoin cause i think bitcoin will keep increasing for a few weeks.
