Yes, I think after at least 2 or 3 years BTC can be replaced by another coin. There are many new coins that are quite promising and I think sooner or later BTC will be replaced.

anything can happen in the crypto world but to take the crown of bitcoin in the near future seems almost impossible, why because when the bitcoin price drops then altcoin also goes down but for the future it might be possible because a lot of coins popping up with a good price in the market

It all depends on whether developers implement the Lightning Network. If they fail, many people will definitely start selling BTC and this will be an opportunity, for example for ETH, to pick up the crown for the king.

No other coin will take the crown from bitcoin. Even coins is successive and realistic projection it could not take the crown. The crown was wear not because of success but because of good service before and the long run from the starting lane.

I think is more interesting if there is a coin that can take the crown, it is better and more profitable for the future of cryptocurrencies, if bitcoin continues to be number # 1 then this causes investor boredom.

As for me, I ask myself about it almost everyday cos I daily see the pros and cons of BTC (which is king now) and think there's at least DASH which can replace BTC from its positions. Lets see.

Bitcoin is very difficult to surpass because of its high value, if you compare it to other altcoins it is very far interms of marlet value even ethereum who is next to bitcoin is still far to surpass bitcoin. The day that bitcoin will be surpassed by other coin was not yet seen by experts.

It is possible that other crypto currency will replace bitcoin, no one knows. However, maybe it will take a long run for other currency. Since bitcoin is the pioneer in crypto world. Bitcoin already proves that it can survive no matter what happen and no matter what it takes even the price of Bitcoin decreases.

It is possible that other coins can replace bitcoins. But not now. Bitcoin is still thriving. No other coins can simple dethrone bitcoins easily. Because of its sumpremacy. Since bitcoins is the oldest and stand the test of time, it is more reliable and popular to other investors. I think that the coins that may replace the bitcoin will have more uses and is more efficient.
