It is possible that other crypto currency will replace bitcoin, no one knows. However, maybe it will take a long run for other currency. Since bitcoin is the pioneer in crypto world.
As the market continues to grow & expand, I think its feasible to anticipate that another coin could surpass BTC for market dominance at some point down the road. I do feel that's still a long way away though.

Yes bitcoin is the oldest one but still the top coin on crypto currency even if its value goes down but theres no other coin bit thier popularity .

Yes these coins do have the potential to take over bitcoin but it will take them a long time to do so.
Bitcoin being the pioneer has the first mover advantage over these coins and hence is the most widely accepted coin in the financial market. Also, with market capital of $130 billion, it will take the coins a lot of time to surpass this capital.
However, these coins have the advantage that they peovide features with the pioneer doesn't provide and hence also have a more secure and advanced blockchain, making them not only a better investment asset but also more preferable coins for making transactions throughout the world.
I think that in 10 years the crypto currency will not be the kind that we now imagine. There will be ups and downs of the market, strong volotility, and the major currencies will change cyclically.
I dont think that any coin can overtake place of bitcoin, revulution started with bitcoin and if revulution is going to happen successfully till end it ll continue with bitcoin for sure. Bitcoin will be always king of crypto till the end.
n the current market there are many new coins emerging like dodgecoin litecoin and many more.... But bitcoin has maintained its value and i think no other coin can surpass bitcoin in the near future
Only which coin would it be. At the moment, there is no such possibility. Maybe someday eth will have such a chance. Bitcoin is still the most recognizable and desired cryptocurrency.

i think EOS may win the title a few years later . it achieves one million transactions per second . it does not have a transfer fee . it will be widely popularized .
Nope, no one would take over the King it Bitcoin would always be the #1 even if it has so many disadvantages. However it's the main cryptocurrency that's why people believe in it, it has done so many things since 2009.
That's true, there are several coins out there that are fighting seriously against the giant coin called Bitcoin. Ethereum is the worst enemy of Bitcoin as investors are likely to invest in the project in the nearest future. Though it will take many years for any other coin in existence to take control or to take lead in the world of cryptocurrency, this will be a long struggle for them if at all they will.

I think the most attractive is not ETH, but the technology behind them, more people are willing to believe in technology, so more and more people have chosen Ethereum, not Bitcoin!

I think bitcoin always will be a crypto gold, but in the future I think we will see another altcoins with highest price for example I believe in ethereum.
bitcoin for the moment is the king and it will still for a long time, but in the very distant future when it will no longer be able to be mined i think it will be replaced/flanked by ethereum that is making big steps forward

In my opinion, the crown can only be taken by the Ethereum. Bitcoin Cash will not be as profitable currency as the Ethereum and, especially, Bitcoin. Jump to:
